Taj Lake Palace

I had amazing stay there . Stayed here with my family and we took two rooms . Views from the rooms were awesome. We enjoyed cultural program in evening followed by scenic boat ride. Food was awesome .All the staff were courteous and polite. We got the warm welcome with rose petals shower and arti which was breathtaking moment. Breakfast buffet was grand . Over all We enjoyed our stay here. One thing I want to share that staff at front desk was not efficient as they didn’t pay full attention. One of them took our picks at the time of checkin but didn’t share with us. I felt bad at this. Otherwise the stay was calm and fantastic.

This was not our first visit to the Lake Palace, nor will it be our last, but the people here succeeded in making it special once more. This was part of a honeymoon trip and the thoughtful gestures arranged by the staff will always remain close to our hearts. The airport pickup was seamless, thanks to Mr. Yashwant who was there to pick us up. A special thanks to Jasbinderji who had left word at the reception, and to Harshji who received us with such warmth. Namanji at the front office and Dishaji with concierge services helped immensely. Anjaliji was with us throughout, helping with cake, intake and to plan our days superbly. The staff at Jharokha, especially Yuvrajji who we knew and recognized from a previous visit and those at Neel Kamal were extraordinary as always. We would like to again thank Mahendraji and Pradeepji at Neel Kamal as well as chef Anop for their wonderful hospitality, recommendation of Safed Maas and exemplary selection of pan. As long time Taj patrons we have stayed with them over changing times and at different destinations, supremely happy with the consistency of their excellence. The Lake Palace probably serves as cut above them all. They make us glad to return time and again. We are already looking forward to next time. Maybe for a longer time, as a larger group, with family once again this time.

We stayed for at the Taj Lake Palace just for a night. And the experience was overwhelming. As the property is within the lake, our experience started with the boat ride, a service available 24 x 7 by very humble staff with a cheerful disposition. While we checked in quite late in the evening, the room was beautifully done up and ready. We were welcomed with a guard holding the Royal Umbrella, some nice Jasmine drink and a garland of fresh flowers. Tajness in extending the heritage to their guests is so touching and soulful! The room gave us a princely feeling with the lake water flowing outside our window. The boats and ducks formed such a lovely sight! The open spaces and verandahs so well maintained with trees, luxury swing, flowers, fountains, water bodies and a temple. Luxurious heritage may be an understatement to describe our experiences. The dinner, albeit late, was so well curated to give us the delightful taste of local cuisines. Every bite was truly relished by us. The breakfast was served to us in a small private chamber (within the restaurant) and that again was so different and exclusive. The spread and the incremental menu indulged us to choose beyond expectations. The shopping at the boutiques also gave a feeling of some very classy stuff, again linking it to heritage and culture. Overall, a day so well spent and memories so nicely curated. We would look forward to spending much more time at this property.
