Taj Lake Palace

During our stay, we had breakfast at Jharokha restaurant twice and lunch once. The lunch experience was pleasant - good food and attentive service. However, the breakfast experience was not as good. I would say too many supervisors/ managers in light blue who were generally inattentive and clueless. The responsibility for service amongst the servers was not clearly delineated. There were tables that no one much cared about. Generally, the folks just attended to the guests who either they thought were important or higher maintenance. In the process, the other guests were left un/ under-attended. Hope the management takes note. One notable exception was Mr. Gunwant who was primarily in hot beverage service. He served us some good Haldi milk and also consulted the chef at my request to pass on a good tip to make the beverage. Keep it up, Mr. Gunwant!

Our stay at Taj Lake Palace was absolutely wonderful and truly unforgettable. The hotel's stunning location, warm hospitality, and attention to every detail made for a perfect experience. A special highlight was dining at Jharokha Restaurant. The food was exceptional, and the beautiful views made every meal even more enjoyable. A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Pramod Narayanan, the Restaurant Manager, for his gracious hospitality and ensuring we had such a memorable dining experience. Special appreciation also goes to Chef Babu Singh Bhati for the delicious cuisine and personal attention, and to Surendra for his outstanding service, warmth, and attentiveness. The entire team made us feel genuinely welcome. We look forward to visiting Taj Lake Palace again soon.

Service is excellent. Not experienced better hospitality. All across the hotel - restaurants, fitness, housekeeping and front desk. Food is as good as it can get. One had to make an effort to consciously venture out to try the street food. Not to miss, the pool and hottub. Spectacular and serene ambiance.

There’s no location that can beat Taj lake Palace in the middle of the lake. The atmosphere is good made great by the hospitality. Our server Surendra was great don’t think I’ve had a better service anywhere looking after minutest details. The sous chef mr babu was always serving with a smile irrespective of food allergies. The front desk ladies were very happy to help and the check-in was excellent not a chore. Up there for a Taj experience of not the best. Coming back again
