My husband and I like to get away every fall to Vail, just him and I (without our kids). The last time we stayed at the Arrabelle was two years ago, when it was amazing. It has changed since then. We just got home from two nights there, and I wish we would have stayed elsewhere. I was so looking forward to the big delicious breakfast, the delicious cookies they would set out for guests, the 24 hour coffee bar, the sparkling water machine, etc. All of that was not to be had on this visit. I didn’t realize until we got there that the usual buffet breakfast, which was so good in the past, would not be offered, as the restaurant was closed for renovation until the middle of November. They did offer a complimentary breakfast at The Belle, which was cute, and good, but not what I was expecting. You get a coffee or other drink, a breakfast sandwich, and a pastry. I wish that would have been more clearly communicated. Also, we were looking forward to watching some movies in our room, but the screen mirroring wasn’t working. There is a free movie program, but the choices were not very good. There wasn’t any way to access Amazon or Netflix. I called and they told me they should have the screen mirroring working by our second day, but that wasn’t the case. Had to just watch our movie on our device. The Arrabelle was clean and pretty, but it just didn’t have all the extras it used to, and was lacking a few things we were expecting. For our annual special getaway, it turned out to be a bit of a disappointment for us.

I visited The Arrabelle in October for a corporate retreat, and we had a fantastic stay. The hotel team did an excellent job hosting the event and making the entire weekend seamless. I brought my husband, our one-year-old, and my mother to help with babysitting while we attended dinners. Lauren Skidmore went above and beyond to make sure our room setup worked perfectly for our family. She even arranged a crib and special amenities for the baby. The entire staff was kind, responsive, and attentive throughout our stay. Thank you for such a wonderful experience, we’ll definitely be back!

Booked this hotel through Qantas Hotels and got a great deal. Warm welcome from staff and massive, well appointed room with a view, including Eagle Bahn gondola. Shower had good pressure and bath was as big as a small pool! Breakfast is included and there is a great range of western breakfast fare, including a chef preparing omelettes. Coffee is very average, but hard to find anything decent for a coffee snob from Melbourne Australia. I recommend the Two Arrows in Vail village for great coffee - barista style. The in house spa is highly recommended but pricey. Relaxing experience which included a glass of Prosecco and raspberry sorbet. This hotel is in Lionshead village, rather than Vail village. It is about a 15 minute picturesque and flat walk in to the centre of Vail village.

NEVER will I EVER recommend this hotel as I had to my friend recently. He booked a day in advance and was given a room for $1200 per night for 2 nights. OK it's expensive, VERY expensive but it's a luxury hotel right ? When he came back to his room after a full day of skiing and his room wasn't made by up housekeeping he assumed "well they are just late". He went to the desk after 6pm to ask when they would make up the room. They told him they only send housekeeping if you are staying 4 days or more. YOU MUST BE KIDDING ?
