The Lodge at Vail

Best location in Vail!! Staff is so, so helpful and there to ensure a perfect experience. Breakfast is great, quick and efficient. Will definitely be going back many times.

My husband and I just visited the Lodge this past week. The lodge was beautiful and the location was wonderful. You could tell it has been renovated over the years but we loved the feel/vibe of it. It was So easy to walk in the village and over to Lionshead. We chose the slope view room and that was so worth it! Beautiful snowy Mountain View where we could watch all the fun ski action! The room itself was very spacious and the king bed was lovely and very comfortable. The bathroom was also incredibly large and very nice. The only downside I would say was that we did notice some mold in the shower, and we woke up with stuffy noses each morning. Not sure if it was just the air quality or age of the hotel, etc. We did go to the spa and received wonderful massage and facial treatments. We loved the sorbet we received afterward. The therapists were extremely professional and kind. The one downfall of the spa experience was our interaction and communication with the spa front desk associate. We called over a month before our appointment and spoke over the phone and there was just a lot of confusion and misunderstanding. As well as a lot of time spent on the phone. Once at the hotel, I called to confirm our treatments and no treatments had actually been scheduled. Thankfully, she was able to reschedule them. What bothered us most was that she had no idea about the Valentine discount special they had going on between the 10-14th. There were signs about it this in the hotel! How would the front desk at the spa not know about this!? She also wasn’t very knowledgeable about the services. She also was trying to speak with us with her AirPods in as well. Just overall not a professional experience with the front desk. Thankfully, the spa treatments made up for this.

What a great place they have in the center of Vail village. 2 Top notch restaurants with tasty food and good choices. Employees were very helpful especially the concierge service. Our room was really nice and overall the lodge is great place to stay.

I had a hip replacement at the Vail Hospital and arrived at the Lodge at Vail to spend a few days recuperating before making the long drive to my home. From the moment we arrived, we received awesome service from the valets and bell staff to the front desk. Without asking, we were put in a room next to the elevator and stairs so I need not hobble very far. We ate breakfast at Cucina--delicious-- and nearly emptied the ice machine for icing my sore hip. The Lodge is very cozy and uber comfortable. I did not want to leave. Would highly recommend for a stay at Vail!

You simply cannot get a better location in the heart of Vail. The Lodge at Vail puts you right in the center of the action and practically on the slopes—everything is just steps away, which made our stay incredibly convenient especially with a 5 mo that needs lots of naps throughout the day. The amenities are fabulous. The gym is well-equipped, and the pool and hot tub area are absolutely lovely—such a relaxing place to unwind after a day out. We stayed in a larger king suite and highly recommend it, especially if you're traveling with a baby or dogs like we were (two goldendoodles!). The extra space made all the difference and kept our stay comfortable and stress-free. The staff is where this place truly shines. From the valet to housekeeping to the front desk, every single person we interacted with was friendly, thoughtful, and genuinely went above and beyond to make our stay magical. This is always my favorite place to stay in Vail, and this visit just reinforced why. 10/10 recommend!
