Reviews for Manor Vail Lodge

Wonderful place, perfect location

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

My husband and I celebrated our 45th anniversary this past weekend at Manor Vail. Everything was perfect…the service, the location and all the many amenities. Our trip was a visit 45 years from when we lived there as a newly married couple. Vail is still fabulous and our trip was magical. Thank you Manor Vail for the great memories.

We went to a show at Vail Amp. The hotel was excellent location, pool, and food. The hotel is worth the money for sure. We will be back!!!!

Dated and Disappointing

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

I have been going to Manor Vail since I was a kid (early 1980’s). No complaints until this year… June of 2025. Our unit was not worth the “Platinum Luxury Level” that I booked. It was so dated, the hide-a-bed was just springs, carpet was filthy, the divider between the living room and additional sleeping was broken and seemed to be rotting when pulled out from wall casing. No air conditioning (which I knew from years past) I had to ask for extra fans and the ones they brought didn’t work so had to ask for more… just frustrating. It is not much cooler at all in the mountains in the summers anymore so plan for being hot and uncomfortable if staying here. Even the grounds were overgrown making it hard to walk on some of the walkways. Sad to see. It used to be immaculate. We stayed in the bldg that is attached to the front desk and bar and restaurant (I have never stayed in that bldg before). It was so disappointing that I don’t believe we will return to Manor Vail.

Second stay at Manor Vail - mixed experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

We stayed last year in August and returned this July. While the location is beautiful and convenient, the rooms are in serious need of updates - especially considering the price point. There is no air conditioning, and with no ceiling fans either, the rooms get uncomfortably hot, especially in the summer. Being on the first floor, we couldn’t leave the windows open for airflow, which made it feel like we were baking inside. The plug-in fan provided was so loud it made it hard to sleep, turning what was meant to be a relaxing weekend into a hot and noisy one. July is also a much busier time; the resort was full of families and kids, which made things a bit loud at all hours. If you’re looking for a quieter, more peaceful stay, late August is a better time to go. Additionally, the room felt dated and not very clean, there were visible carpet stains, and the pillows were overly firm and bulky, making them uncomfortable to sleep on. This place has potential, but they really need to invest in some basic upgrades to meet the expectations of summer guests.

Lovely property, close to village but much quieter and secluded

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Great stay! The property is lovely with beautiful grounds and very spacious and comfortable rooms. We stayed on the creek side which seemed a little more quiet and secluded than the other side. Quick 10 minute walk to the village, which made it the perfect spot to relax in a quiet space but still be near all the action.
