Hospes Palau de Mar, open to the world, exudes life and inner purity. It is capable of conveying the values of the city that hosts it, of its people, and its history, all in harmony with the design, art, and cosmopolitan style of modern Valencia. This 19th-century palatial building is located on one of the most beautiful and central streets in Valencia, enjoying the convenience of being next to the Turia Gardens and just a 5-minute stroll from the historic center. Design, art, and style come together to overflow with energy in this unique location. Inside, you’ll discover a modern and spectacular courtyard, reminiscent of a ship’s deck, which contrasts with the stately architecture of the building. There’s also a lush garden filled with Mediterranean aromas and a gourmet cuisine featuring natural and local ingredients. All these places are where you can find relaxation and wellbeing.

We had a wonderful time in the hotel. The staff was vey friendly and always was ready for help. Special thanks to Laura for helping us when we had a problem with rental car. The restaurant is super. Everything was very tasty.

As a well traveled person staying in my varied hotels I recently stayed in Hospes Palau de la Mar Hotel in Valencia in Spain. I can only recommend it highly. It was very comfortable and the staff were so extremely welcoming and helpful. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending this hotel. Further more, it was an easy walk to exciting shopping and some delightful restaurants. Valencia itself has a wonderful history, the Old Town was so interesting and the buildings outstanding. Do not forget to visit the City of Science which had some amazing modern buildings you will ever see. Safe Travels. Howard/London/UK

For a 5 star hotel I got a 2 star room. We check in early, room wasn’t ready so we left To discover València. The hotel told us they will call when room was ready, they didn’t. When we got back dinner time, We got a nice room without air conditioning. The temp that day was 85 degrees sunny. The hotel knew the a/c in the third floor wasn’t working but fail to disclose it to us, when we check in. They gave us a bottle of wine and chocolates which we didn’t know it was for lack of a/c. When we discover no a/c in our room, the hotel told us they didn’t have another room available. So we rough it with a fan. The next day they moved us to another room. The room had a/c but no windows. It look you were inside a closet with wood all around, 2 skylight but we closed because of heat. I felt claustrophobic couldn’t wait to get out. (By the way another couple in our third room floor were told about lack of a/c in their room when they checked in). Planning to come back to València but not to this hotel again. Rooms without windows! Not good.

We have just returned from a most delightful stay at this hotel. From start to finish our time at the hotel was a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is really beautiful but what makes it is the staff who are employed. We did not come across one person who was not happy to help, have a smile on their face and was not friendly to engage in conversation with. Well done everyone.
