Home to orange trees and urban beaches the Westin Valencia sits admist a historical and cultural city. Valencia is an escape filled with sweet delights on the eastern Mediterranean coastline of Spain. One of the area's most striking structures, the hotel was originally constructed in modernist style in 1917. This new and impressive hotel is now home to contemporary guest rooms that combine hints of Art Deco with Avant-garde technology and refreshing amenities - the signature Heavenly Beds and Heavenly Baths to name a few. For indulging the senses, a duo of dining venues serves excellent regional and international cuisine, while Caroli Wellness Center offers a hammam, aromatherapy shower and wealth of soothing treatments.

Our first Valencia trip, short but sweet. Primary checkoff list included a really comfortable bed and location. In this Westin, we truly received a 5 star experience, from the time we checked in, until we left. The staff was exemplary, and I would like to call out both Alejandro the concierge and Alejandro at the front desk who were not only helpful in every way, but delightful to converse with. A smile and good word with every interaction. Lladro Museum tickets, no problem! Taxi to Sueca, done! Let's not forget Callo, outdoors in the informal El Jardi, whose humor and excellent recommendations made our last night in Valencia, simply enjoyable and memorable. The live music in the background provided just the right touch. Valencia, through this singular experience, is embedded in our hearts! Muchas gracias para todo! R&K

Stayed here for 5 nights as was visiting Valencia for a family wedding. Location of hotel is in a quiet area, but at least a 20 min walk to the old town for shopping, dining or sightseeing. The hotel common areas were lovely- very nice bar and terrace, lovely gardens, great pool and spa area. The bedroom was comfortable, but lacked details one would expect of a 5 star hotel - no mirrors in bedroom, just bathroom and dressing area ( which was v dark) - very little counter top space or storage in bathroom so had to leave my toiletries and makeup on floor - no body lotion provided -out of date (2024) jam on room service breakfast trolley - stayed 5 nights and others in wedding party stayed 3 nights, paid the same rate, booked at the same time via same booking portal and were allocated a better room with a balcony.

We recently visited The Westin Valencia mid August. Upon booking, there appeared to be a mistake where it should've been 1 room 2 adults but instead I kept being told I booked 2 rooms with 1 adult each. We didn't arrive until almost midnight and "Cosmin" and/or "Cormin" made the check in process SUPER frustrating. I am shocked that someone like him is considered appropriate to work for a Marriott Property. As soon as I told him the honest truth about how it should be my Husband and I staying in the room, he increased the daily price per night on his end. However, on the website the rate remained the same for Govt/Military regardless of 1 or 2 guests in the room. In the morning, I was able to talk to the Manager on shift whose name was Marie. After looking into the reservation, she was able to cancel the 2nd room but STILL charged me for the 1 night because we checked in "too late". During our stay, we did have breakfast every morning but didn't purchase pay parking. Upon check out, we requested for the billing to be emailed to us. However, we cannot find a single email from the property. Our CC charges indicate $1315.23 + $247.24. This is an absolutely INSANE rate for 4 nights because on the website it indicates an approx. charge of $877 CAD incl taxes and fees. Since then, I've contacted the property by email and even rec'd a "read" email receipt. However, I've rec'd NO responses. I've now contacted The Marriott Headoffice hoping I will hear back to clarify/rectify the charges. For anyone booking this property, I would urge you to pay in full when booking as opposed to paying at the property in their currency. I would also encourage you to get a paper billing to prevent what we are going through. Overall, the property is beautiful with lots of free parking nearby. The valet staff were probably the MOST helpful. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Billed for 2 rooms. It was clearly a glitch but the uncaring, condescending GM refused to refund the duplicate room. So I paid 1800 euros for 3 nights. Never again, Marriott. Hello Hyatt!

Great huge king room. We had one on the first floor. Nice location close to walkable restaurants and parks. The swimming pool requires you to wear swim caps which the kids did not enjoy and was actually a little dangerous because the cap would fall down and cover mouth when they jumped in the pool. Rooms are very spacious and bed is comfortable. Large bathroom and plenty of closet space.
