Rosselli - AX Privilege

We had a wonderful short stay at the Rosselli AX Privilege last week. From the moment we checked in, we were welcomed with a perfect balance of professional service and a warm, "homely" atmosphere that continued until the moment we left. ​The Highlights: ​The Food: Breakfast was a standout experience. Everything is cooked to order, incredibly fresh, and offers a fantastic variety. A special thank you to the breakfast team—Samjhana, Daman, and Rohit—who were all so friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. ​The Atmosphere: As a Michelin-starred establishment, the quality shows. The outdoor seating area is beautiful and adds a real touch of luxury to the stay. ​The Service: This is where the hotel truly shines. Umair was incredibly helpful during our stay, but our biggest thanks must go to our butler, Hark Chand. His professionalism, politeness, and eye for the "finer details" made our stay truly memorable. He anticipated our every need. ​A Note on the Room: Our room was a bit on the smaller side with an unusual layout (it lacked a dedicated makeup mirror/vanity space), and we found the TV system a bit slow/difficult to navigate. However, the room was spotlessly clean and maintained to a very high standard, which more than made up for the quirks. ​If you are visiting Valletta, we definitely recommend staying here. The staff at The Rosselli were what made our stay extra special. Nothing was too much trouble. Katho and her breakfast team were our favourites but every member of staff we encountered during our 10 night stay was friendly, helpful and cheerful. The room was comfortable and we appreciated the special little touches like our lovely handmade chocolate truffles and bottles of mineral water that were delivered to our room every evening.

Outstanding old school hotel with exceptional history and character. The staff are incredible and work really hard to make your stay a first class experience. 10/10 in every respect.

The hotel is in the perfect location in the heart of Valletta. On arrival the check in was smooth and the reception staff immediately made us feel at home. They were very helpful with tips on where to visit in Malta, providing a simple map of the main areas. Rooms are of a good size. However the deluxe rooms are all at the front of the building which means on a weekend the noise from the nearby bars is very disturbing. So much so that we asked to move to a smaller room at the back of the building. The staff in the restaurant are excellent. Breakfast is served at your table. The choices are more than adequate and everything is done with a very warm smile. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone and. If we ever return to Malta we would not hesitate to book here again.

Great hotel. Can't fault the service, the staff were lovely-helpful and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. It's in a great location, only 5 minutes from St John's Co Cathedral, and the Barakka Gardens. Breakfast in the Grain Street restaurant is beautifully cooked and presented and gives plenty of options. It will be our hotel of choice in Valletta.
