Located in Downtown Vancouver, this boutique hotel features beautifully-furnished rooms, each with a private balcony. Founded by Greek-born Eleni Skalbania, this family owned property is now managed by her younger daughter, Elpie Marinakis, who has the same passion for hospitality. This Vancouver boutique hotel offers 83 uniquely appointed Guestrooms and Suites, a tranquil day Spa, elegant event rooms for private meeting and parties. The award-winning Bacchus Restaurant and Lounge attention to detail is immediately apparent. You are instantly surrounded by luxury, with richly upholstered furniture, warm, dark cherry wood, and Murano crystal fixtures imported from Venice personally by Eleni herself. A large canvas depicting Bacchus himself, Greek god of wine and revelry, presides over the lounge, the site of Vancouver’s most popular cocktail hour. A favorite spot of locals and celebrities.

A stylish hotel, that oozes class to make you feel at home from the moment you enter the canopied entrance to be met by the warmly welcoming staff, It seems unique in style with a homage to a by-gone age, of good taste, warmth and comfort. Rooms are clean, crisp and continue with stylish period interiors, whilst providing a modern light feel and ambience. The attached restaurant and bar, Bacchus, is atmospheric, and a must visit. Food was great and again staff warm and welcoming. We will definitely stay here again.

Everything about my stay in this hotel was flawless: the room, the food and most importantly the attitude and service of all the staff. I arrived at the hotel and explained that I had left my tablets in Washington DC at my previous hotel and wasn’t sure what to do to sort this out easily. The staff on the desk and the concierge were amazing. They found me a pharmacist, phoned ahead to explain the situation and then directed me so I could use my prescription and get replacements. The doormen were lovely - efficient but great to chat to and Ryan was so personable and full of good ideas on where to visit and how to get there. Definitely on a par with the Capital in London and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

This hotel won me over. I got in very late at night, and they gave me a room with the view of the HVAC, so I wasn't super impressed at first. But all the the little things they do so well and the outstanding service really made this hotel stand out. They upgraded me to a junior suite without my asking, and it was incredibly well appointed. The bathrooms are so nice with the Ahbana shampoos and the thick towels, and I greatly enjoyed their in-room Nespresso with nice cream in the mini-fridge. And I can't say enough about how nice all their staff are--it really stands out and makes you feel like a valued guest. This is a top hotel.

The hotel is beautifully appointed and the location could not be more central. As a Québécoise and former tour guide in Old Québec and employee at Le Château Frontenac, I especially appreciated the warm and friendly embrace. The Sentinels out front are lovely. Your Personnel are conscientious and very professional as the best European Service. The evening manager David was.very welcoming and efficient and the perfectly bilingual Frenchman Antoine is a great addition to the team. I am looking forward to spending three nights at your fine establishment in September.

One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever been to. All the staff was phenomenal. Rooms so clean and cleaned more than once a day. 100% recommend.
