From the moment we returned to the Wedgewood it felt less like a hotel and more like a true home away from home. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and effortlessly elegant, with exceptional service at every turn. A special thank you to Yuki, who is simply the best server imaginable. Her attention to detail, genuine kindness, and ability to anticipate every need made every dining experience a pleasure. Johnny, the bartender, is outstanding. Not only does he craft fantastic cocktails, but he also creates an inviting and friendly atmosphere that makes guests feel instantly at ease. Kirby, the doorman, deserves special recognition for his warm welcome, professionalism, and positive energy. He consistently made every arrival and departure a delightful experience. And finally, a huge thank you once again to Melvin at the concierge desk. His knowledge, resourcefulness, and dedication to guest satisfaction were exceptional. Whether recommending local attractions or helping with arrangements, he always went above and beyond. The entire team embodies hospitality at its finest. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone looking for outstanding service and a truly memorable stay in beautiful Vancouver!!!

This is a gem of an hotel. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly , nothing is too much trouble. It’s a walkable city, the waterfront is lovely.

Location was great. Easy walking. Atmosphere was welcoming. I am in a wheelchair and the staff were so helpful to me and my wife. Room was beautiful and comfortable. Bathroom was good. Room was clean and welcoming Very quiet

We have been staying at the Wedgewood for many years now, and this beautiful hotel has truly become a home away from home for us whenever we visit Vancouver. Every stay feels so comfortable and relaxing, and the staff consistently provides a level of care and hospitality that feels increasingly rare to find these days. From Kirby, Martin, and Jordan at valet, to the kind and helpful front desk staff, to the wonderful servers in the restaurant, and of course the housekeeping team — everyone is always so warm, friendly, and genuinely happy to be there. It creates such a welcoming atmosphere and never goes unnoticed. It’s also so wonderful to know that the Skalbania family is still running the hotel. You can truly feel their thoughtful touch throughout every detail of the property, from the decor to the overall atmosphere and experience. We look forward to each and every stay at the Wedgewood and always recommend the Wedgewood to our friends and family whenever they visit Vancouver. Second time staying here and found it just as good. Staff are friendly and helpful, though restaurant recommendations weren’t the best. The rooms have, I think, been recently renovated and ours was excellent. I love having the view over the square and a separate sitting area/room to the bedroom. Didn’t eat in Bacchus but the bar food and vibe there is really excellent as is the breakfast. Can’t imagine wanting to stay anywhere else in this city.
