Wedgewood Hotel & Spa

Past reviewers are correct everyone to a man (and woman) provide superb friendly service. Nothing was too much trouble the advice and recommendations we received were excellent and so helpful. Even before we arrived Ryan replied to our e-mails promptly with a wealth of information and assurances. The hotel really is at the centre of downtown. Shops and restaurants abound in the streets around the hotel. Robson Street and Robson Square are literally 2 minutes walk away. You can walk to the Harbour, Canada Place and GasTown in around 20 minutes. Buses and the SkyTrain stops are close by for getting around to the farther points in the city. Back at the hotel our suite was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed with excellent toiletries and the shower was massive making it very easy to use. Beds were super comfortable. Then having a separate living area closed off from the bedroom seemed more like living in a small apartment than a hotel room. The ambience and service in Bacchus restaurant was top quality. We only used the restaurant for Breakfast which was well presented and so tasty. Honestly I cannot fault anything about our stay in this hotel. When we next visit Vancouver we will definitely return to this hotel.

Loved our 3 night stay . Easy to see why they have so many repeat guests when the staff treat you like family! Recent renovations and the rooms are fresh, spacious and very well appointed - comfy beds and quality linens. Great central location' All of the staff are kind and welcoming from the doorman to the front desk to housekeeping. Special shout out to David Martin who went the extra mile to make our stay so enjoyable. Can't wait to come back.....

Another outstanding stay at the Wedgewood.The service was superlative, starting at check-in with David A. Martin the doorman and Dicken the manager were awesome, too. Our anniversary room was upgraded to a full suite, which was greatly appreciated. Everything in the room was perfect. We stay here when in Vancouver for the value, and the friendliness of the staff from top-to-bottom. The atmosphere in the bar and restaurant was very romantic, with a live pianist. This was our second stay, with many more to come. Our favorite hotel in North America!

Excellent service from beginning to end.

My husband and I visited the Wedgewood Hotel for the holidays in December. We stayed from December 14th to the 27th, 2025. The moment we arrived at the valet stand we were treated with such warmth and respect. The best attributes of this property is the staff. The front desk especially Ryan and Melvin went out of their way to assist not just us but my family as well during one of their busiest times. Also the restaurant staff were very attentive and helpful. Raymond and Yuki are excellent employees of the hotel. I believe all the staff of the Wedgewood that we encountered were professional and friendly. The Bacchus Bar and Restaurant were always so busy but they did accommodate us as best as they could. As hotel guests they did give us some priority to access the lounge, however because of the time of the year the wait could be substantial. The restaurant was sold out for Christmas Lunch however we have a group of 7 and they found a table for us. Thank you Leona! The lunch was outstanding and was a sit-down menu which we prefer to the traditional Christmas buffet. The room was lovely but does need a bit of a makeover and that is the only negative but not really a negative! When I return in May I will patronise the hotel again. Our experience was that this hotel offers 5 star service! This boutique hotel offers so much value for the price!
