Fairmont Pacific Rim

Thank you once again after stay in Fairmont Gold in Calgary, Banf , Lake Louise , Jasper, this hotel in Vancouver continued the outstanding excellence experienced in Fairmont Gold. The lounge and their staff were all outstanding. This is the ideal cure and antidote after suffering the hell and bullying of the VOCO Southampton hotel by their angry GM. This is how standards of staff behaviour should be exhibited. Thank you so much once again and thank you for the complimentary lift to the Cruise Port. Simply amazing staff and service, we will be back.

Rooms and food were great. Service in the lobby restaurant, lounge and the concierges was excellent. The reception, not so much. Had a big issue with reception that I have advised the hotel about. In a nutshell they did not honor what I thought was an AMEX Platinum Luxury Hotel package and lost out on a couple hundred dollars worth of benefits. The young reception agent should read Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara because what he did, basically questioning my truthfulness in a sauve way was better suited for a Motel 6. For almost $700/night, it would have been appropriate for them to have handled the situation better. I have an investigation underway at AMEX. Not coming back.

Wonderful hotel with a fantastic view of the harbour. The lobby was always busy but still received great service from reception and the bellhops. Rooms were lovely, modern, spacious, and nicely decorated. The only downside I would mention is the extortionately priced room service - really charging CAD12 for cereal is completely unnecessary! Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Vancouver.

Nothing compares to Fairmont Pacific Rim. The attention to detail and the level of service is unmatched at any hotel I've ever stayed at. The staff is so warm and welcoming. Fairmont really makes you feel like part of the family

Certainly one of the best hotel I’ve stayed at. Aside from the clean condition and contemporary atmosphere, the location and harbor views are great. We had a room on the 22nd floor (gold level). Very modern with great technology. Concierge lounge on the 20th floor was so nice. Relaxing with outdoor balcony tables looking over the harbor and Stanley Park. Great breakfast and snacks/drinks throughout the day. Easy walk to the water and downtown. Nice hotel car to shuttle you around if you need it. One of the better fitness centers I’ve seen at a hotel. Despite all of the above, none of it works without a great staff. It is a reflection of a management team that knows how to hire pleasant, competent people. Particular shout out to Naval (our concierge), Jesse at the front desk, Kat (one of our waitresses), and Mohamed (our cook in the concierge lounge). Everyone else was great, but these made our trip so nice.
