Fairmont Vancouver Airport

My partner and I booked a room during a layover for a shower and a good meal. This hotel definitely had both. The check-in was quick and the staff made sure we had a quiet room. The room was spacious, well-appointed and the shower and bath facilities were great. The room service had a good range of dishes, I had the all-day breakfast, really good. The bed was beyond comfortable, and it was tough to leave for our next flight. We also liked the convenient location and plan to stay again on our next layover.

The staff are awesome The place an oasis of calm I was on the gold level Beautiful so well set out so clean Lounge lovely calm place I arrived very very late put my luggage in my room went to Lounge on gold floor .. so so quiet I had a lovely bowl of granola and a fur blanket around me in my chair .. a good memory .. wonderful after my busy noisy trip Thank you Fairmount x

Our direct flight to Cabo on Thursday, Jan. 15 was cancelled and we were rerouted to Vancouver leaving very early on Friday and then, even earlier the following day, Saturday, from Vancouver to Cabo. My wife and are both seniors and we were pretty bagged when we arrived in Vancouver. We voted for the Airport Fairmont so as to be able to have quick access to our 6 AM flight Saturday. Our room was first class and we could think of no comfort that the hotel didn't provide for. The lobby paintings by Bronwen Belenkie added much to the ambience. However, the main point of this review is to heap praises on our desk clerk, Pamela. She was extraordinarily helpful , charming, and the perfect balm for a couple of tired-out old folks.

Great room, loved the gym, decent food and friendly staff.

Flight cancelation in Mexico lead to a no show and no refund. Emailed from Mexico but didn't work so contacted them the day after and got the run a round.
