Fairmont Vancouver Airport

Extremely comfortable and wonderful hotel. We stayed just one night before a morning flight and stayed on the gold floor. The room was beautiful and large, although it was not a suite. Really good and generous selection of hors d’oeuvres in the evening. Morning buffet was not quite as large, but adequate amount of food before boarding a plane. Staff were all very helpful and friendly.Completely quiet despite being right in the middle of the airport. Couldn’t be more convenient as we could just go down a couple of floors and be right in the departures section of the airport. We definitely stay here again.

This was our second stay at the Fairmont YVR and the first in a Gold level room. This hotel is quiet, clean, and oh so convenient for an early flight. I will absolutely stay here again - and likely anytime I am flying out of YVR. The lounge has vegan options too!

Excellent hotel for lay over travelers. We went from Eugene to Quebec City. Rather than hope all 4 flights would go smoothly and travel from pre dawn to late at night, we left Eugene at 1:30 pm, changed planes in Seattle and arrived in Vancouver at 4:30 pm. We walked through the airport and got to our Gold Floor room in time for happy hour and a great Mexican food buffet. The next morning we flew out at 7:30 and made it to Quebec City in time for happy hour and hot food on the Frontenac Gold Floor. So convenient! Quiet room. Very clean. We paid around $450 usd. With the included dinner, included breakfast, included coffee, tea, juices and soft drinks, and cocktails below regular airport prices, it is a good deal. Two years ago we tried making this same trip in one day, but got stuck in Toronto due to small but cumulative flight delays. For the pricey Frontenac, we wanted to maximize the first day room rate by being there at check in rather than showing up at 5:00 am the next day. Splurge for the Gold Floor.

We had a flight cancellation and unexpectedly spent the night here last week. We had already planned to stay here as we had a flight out of Vancouver, returning home. The stay, both nights, was exceptional. The reception was friendly and helpful, the dining at the restaurant and room service were also excellent. The room was a great size, overlooking the runway. I was amazed at how quiet the rooms are. This is by far the best airport hotel I have ever stayed in. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

So convenient after arriving from Vancouver Island…decent selection of food at Gold lounge. Would definitely book this again when we return to VI.
