Fairmont Vancouver Airport

We recently stayed just one night at the Fairmont Airport Vancouver to make our final travel day home as easy as possible. We all agreed that staying at this Hotel was a fantastic experience. It is extremely convenient for airport travel, very accessible, has very nice rooms and comfortable beds, and any other amenities. We had one employee during our 24 hour stay that really went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of. Imtiyaz Khan, who worked in the restaurant, did an excellent job taking care of us. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

Anytime I have an early morning flight, I always make a reservation at Fairmont Vancouver Airport. The hotel is located directly in the airport. Just above the US Departure Check-In Counters. If you coming from Canada/International terminal, it is a short 5-7 minute walk. There is an escalator and elevator available. Elevator is just behind the escalator. The reception area is spacious with sitting areas to the right of the Check-In desk. The Globe @ YVR Restaurant and Jetside Bar is located to the right of the Check-In desk. Just before the restaurant and bar, they have 2 computers to where you can print off your boarding passes, etc… Also, just after the sitting areas, they have a block of conference rooms. The hotel also offers a gym, pool/hot tub, and spa. The room that they gave me was quite spacious and had views Canada/International terminals and the runway. Received a King size bed and it was comfortable. The room also has a telescope, so you can view the flights arriving and departing. The room is also soundproof. The bathroom is spacious with separate shower and bathtub. I have never had an opportunity to go to Globe @ YVR Restaurant or Jetside Bar. Fairmont Vancouver Airport has a program called Day Use Room. This option is for when you have a layover or a business day trip and want to refresh yourself. You can reserve to for 4, 6 or 8 hours. While staying at Fairmont Vancouver airport, I had no issues. Staff were friendly and always available when I had any questions. Know the hotel is kind of pricey, but it so convenient. Plus located near the Check-In Counters of various airlines Points of Interest: - Downtown Vancouver to the Hotel: 30 minutes by Skytrain (Uber $34 – 29 minutes) - YVR Airport Station to Hotel: About a 5 minute walk

A very nice hotel on airport property. Do the Gold Level Concierge and you have a nice place to relax, snacks, drinks and more. We spent the night and the rooms were very quiet for being on the airport property.

This is a great place to stay! Easy to find & close to the SkyTrain. At the front desk, they brought out a wagon full of stuffed animals for my son to pick from, then took us to the Gold Floor to check in. The room was beautiful, upgraded us to a runway view & had a plate with airplane shaped cookies waiting for us. The Gold Lounge was quite & had a nice selection of snacks & drinks. The pool was warm & fun, looking into the terminal. Our flight didn't depart til 3pm, so they allowed us to stay til 1pm. We were so impressed with how quite the entire hotel was. Highly recommend!

Can’t praise this hotel highly enough. I had a gold room so paid a little extra for the stay but it was well worth it! The room had large windows to watch the planes landing. Which was a pleasant bit of time wasting. The he bed was very large and the bathroom was beyond perfect. I don’t normally like baths but the large bath with jets was so relaxing! The facilities were excellent, the gym had everything you could need and the bar and restaurant were stocked with great food and drink with great views of the airport. The location is great also as you can walk straight into the departure lounge. The staff were so helpful and polite, they made the stay very enjoyable. Thank you team.
