Reviews for Executive Hotel Le Soleil

Lovely stay, perfect location.

Location was perfect for all of the major attractions and activities. Appreciate the hotels character which sets it apart from some of the bigger chains. Had an issue with our room and the customer service more than made up for it. The manager and valet team in particular were excellent!! Also the breakfast is a must!

An overpriced and overrated hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

For someone looking for a quiet and relaxing atmosphere for breakfast or dinner, the restaurant is a nightmare. To be able to carry out a reasonable conversation, you have to almost shout at each other because of the constant musical ‘insonation’. Whereas you are able to go for dinner somewhere else, you are forced to use the restaurant for breakfast if you have booked the breakfast-included option. We had to bear the noise and the over-and-over-again same music during 4 breakfast times. Anything but relaxing …! Our request for turning down a little the volume of the music when we had dinner outside the restaurant (because we had hoped it would be somewhat less noisy outside) was simply ignored. For any health-conscious person, the choices for breakfast are depressing. If one doesn’t care for “classic” breakfasts with scrambled/poached/Benedict eggs, bacon, jambon, sausage, potatoes, sauce hollandaise, etc., one is forced to have granola, yogurt, honey, with a few berries and a croissant each morning – very little for a considerable amount of money. For the rate of € 450 per night other close-by hotels offer breakfast buffets. Overall, the hotel is clearly overpriced and overrated in terms of what you get for your money. The nice pictures of the lobby of the hotel on its website are misleading.
