Fairmont Waterfront

Very nice place to stay in family Nice pool Nice restaurant We enjoyed it Near from everything, restaurant, boardwalk.

The Fairmont Waterfront is dated, the elevators were not working properly ,we had to walk up numerous flights of steps in the bowels of the stairwell donned with metal grated doors. The air-conditioning malfunctioned at night.The rooms were filthy, the wallpaper was separated. On a nicer note, the staff was great and the hotel location is excellent! They upgraded on the last night, the windows are very large in a corner room,except for a large splattering of bird excrement otherwise the views were amazing, bed more comfortable, but the room was filthy, dusty and the countertops permanently bleached . Not at all what we expected from a Fairmont property.

From the moment of reservation to check-out, our stay at the Fairmont was exceptional. A few months prior, Poppy assisted with confirming our reservation and ensured everything was in order. Upon arrival, Alexis welcomed us at the front desk with warmth, confidence, and efficiency. She even followed up with a thoughtful text message to confirm that our room met expectations. Kateryna responded promptly to our request for additional coffee pods and later checked in to see if we needed anything else—her attentiveness was much appreciated. Shailene went above and beyond to clarify our billing details, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. At check-out, Abrar guided us through the process seamlessly. Special recognition is due to Juliet from housekeeping, whose dedication truly stood out. She maintained our room impeccably and made us feel as though we were guests in her own home—a rare and meaningful touch. The room itself offered breathtaking waterfront views. The location is ideal, with a food court adjacent to the hotel and numerous dining options within walking distance. It was a flawless experience, and we look forward to returning.

From beginning to end, this was a most enjoyable stay. Poppy reconfirmed my reservation back in May and Alexis was happily waiting for us in July when we checked in. She made this as seamless as humanly possible. And a few minutes after we got into our room we received a text from Alexis asking if there was anything else they could do to make our stay more enjoyable.Kateryna, Shailene, and Abrar also were quite helpful. But the star of the show had to be Juliet, the lovely lady from housekeeping. I've never met a more cheerful, thoughtful person in the hospitality business. What an absolute gem. The room as more than large enough and was quiet and the blackout curtains were superb. Plenty of places to eat in the neighborhood and Gastown was only a few blocks away. Also, there is a pretty good food court adjoining the property.

Our stay in the Fairmont hotel was average. The rooms were clean, the food was average, but the staff didn‘t say hello while passing by. Also the amounts of people, who checked in every day and the noisy atmosphere was very unrelaxing. Our room was one time not done until 4 o‘clock in the afternoon and alimentary like water or snacks from the mini bar were never refilled. It was very disappointing to see that we had to wait for being seated for breakfast every day like 20 minutes as fixed hotel guests. The arrival team infront of the hotel was at least very helpful and kind. Overall not a five-star experience and we will not return again to this hotel
