About the Hotel

Poised at the edge of Coal Harbour in lovely downtown Vancouver is the newly-opened Loden Vancouver hotel, part of Kor Hotel Group's urban portfolio and its first foray into the Canadian market. Loden Vancouver's modern design, inspired by the region's cascading mountains and placid waterways, is a city skyline standout with a mix of gleaming curved glass, natural stone and copper positioned to mimic ocean waves. The compilation of spacious guest rooms and suites are meticulously appointed in a soothing palette of chocolaty earth tones and rich caramels, coupled with an assortment of amenities. Little details, such as heated bathroom floors and fully-stocked private bars, provide that extra element of comfort and luxury.

Reviews for Loden Hotel Vancouver

Amazing hospitality team!

Stan, the guest lobby manager, is superb. He and his colleagues made us feel welcome at the hotel and in Vancouver. The guest room hallway smells like cafeteria/leftover foods. But the rest of the hotel made up for it and it will be our hotel of choice next time when we visit the gourmet and nature lover’s city of Vancouver, a city that welcomes all immigrants! Thank you for hosting us for a fabulous weekend.

Magnificent

We had an exceptional stay at The Loden. The room was large and comfortable and we loved having a shower and a bath as we each have different preferences. We enjoyed the special chocolates or nuts left every time the room was cleaned and then in the evening another surprise was delivered with a jug of water with lemon and lime slices. From our arrival and throughout our stay, the staff were very helpful and booked restaurants for us and we loved the amuse bouches that the restaurant presented to us with a “compliments from your hotel concierge”, a lovely gesture. We used the restaurant for breakfast and a good selection of items on the menu and we also dined there on our last night and it was very good. A wonderful start to our three weeks touring Canada.

We loved this hotel

We stayed at the Loden for 3 nights prior to an Alaska cruise. I had never heard of the hotel before and booked it based on the reviews here on TripAdvisor. What a great hotel. If you are looking for a classic hotel with a grand lobby you should go elsewhere. That said, the Loden’s lobby may be small but it is quite comfortable with a cool modern decor. Every staff person that we interacted with from the room cleaner to the people at the front desk to the people in the restaurant was fabulous. The best way I can describe it is that the staff has been trained to please and they are genuinely welcoming. I’m not going to call anyone out individually - partly because I am horrible with remembering names and partly because every single person we interacted with was top notch. We got a corner room which was on an upper floor and had fabulous views of the city. If you are heading out on a cruise, the Loden is a short distance from the cruise terminal. With luggage you will want to Uber to the terminal, but it is a short drive with a small fare. If I should go to Vancouver again there is no question where I am staying. Very highly recommended.
