Poised at the edge of Coal Harbour in lovely downtown Vancouver is the newly-opened Loden Vancouver hotel, part of Kor Hotel Group's urban portfolio and its first foray into the Canadian market. Loden Vancouver's modern design, inspired by the region's cascading mountains and placid waterways, is a city skyline standout with a mix of gleaming curved glass, natural stone and copper positioned to mimic ocean waves. The compilation of spacious guest rooms and suites are meticulously appointed in a soothing palette of chocolaty earth tones and rich caramels, coupled with an assortment of amenities. Little details, such as heated bathroom floors and fully-stocked private bars, provide that extra element of comfort and luxury.

Another exemplary stay at the Loden. The attention to detail - as always - is second to none. The chilled water service at dusk, the glassware replacement, the cleanliness (spotless). The staff is outstanding from the front desk staff to housekeeping…top to bottom. Extremely professional.

Could not speak more highly of my time at the Loden. It was my first time staying at a smaller boutique hotel and it was an experience i won't forget. The staff was super friendly and they get to know you very quick with anything I asked for, which wasn't much. The location was great, tucked away from what seemed to be the main/busy areas but just a short walk. Whatever you may need was within a block. The gym onsite had everything you would need to maintain and there's a Barry's or Equinox close by if that's your thing. Best part was being so close to Stanley Park, if was difficult to talk myself out of running through it so was easy to work off some of the food. The room was very comfortable feeling, nicely designed, was able to open a window for fresh air. The bed was super comfortable and came with multiple pillows that actually had a difference in feel so it was no problem to find something I liked. The lemon water and cookie every night was a nice touch. I slept better than I do at home. I don't know if this is a thing but the shower pressure was just right in my room, I just recall stepping out and thinking how relaxing it felt. Tableau downstairs was really good. If I had to be stuck in the hotel I would have no problem eating there lunch/dinner but there are plenty of options around and I found their recommendations to be accurate. Everyone I spoke with, you could tell their main concern is enjoying your time in Vancouver and I just want to thank everyone at the Loden for really making my time in Vancouver relaxing and enjoyable.

The Loden is a meticulously clean hotel. The housekeeping service is outstanding! The staff are friendly and very helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed the personal touches like the welcome note, fresh lemon water each night with treats, and the use of the bikes. They even provide helmets and bottled water for your ride. A pet peeve of mine for luxury hotels is the postage stamp sized bath towels. At the Loden, nice oversized towels are provided. Also, they have a pillow selection to ensure a good night”s sleep. I could go on and on about the deep soaking tub, breakfast at the restaurant next door, and endless other touches. Overall, an excellent place to stay in Vancouver.

Absolutely lovely hotel in a great location, with the most welcoming staff. Our travel agents had made a mistake with our confirmed booking. But at check-in the staff tried their best to make us unaware of the potential catastrophe, and only advised of the error when they'd definitely sorted a room for us. (Apologies from our travel company followed). The daily little gifts and turndown service were a lovely surprise, but the most important aspect - the room - was simply lovely. The modern 'open bathroom' thing is bewildering to us, don't understand it ... but fortunately you can slide the large doors across, to make the bathroom conventionally private. The bed was sublime, I want it shipping to the UK along with pillows and bedlinen please! ;-) It's a pleasant walk from the hotel to Canada Place, Gastown, and downtown Vancouver. And you can walk all along the harbour path to Stanley Park (about half an hour to get you there) - and then some! Thanks to the staff for making us so very welcome and trying to anticipate every need. It really was appreciated and it should be a benchmark for others.

The accommodations and staff are top notch, and they will stop at nothing to make sure their guests are taken care of.
