Loden Hotel Vancouver

The location of the Loden is very convenient. The waterfront was a few minutes walk. We borrowed their complimentary bikes to take to Stanley Park (which is a short bike ride away). They thoughtfully packed us water, bike locks and suggested nice stops at Stanley Park. Atmosphere and rooms were nice and clean. Parking is valet only but everytime we need our car, we did not have to wait long and it was out front and ready. Although there are a lot of hotels that have good locations and rooms, what sets the Loden apart is their heartfelt service. Love the snacks and ice water they have prepared in the room everytime we came back. They remembered our names and small details in the short conversations we had. None of those business like insincere small talks. They were able to make personalized suggestions and small touches (for example, they packed us towels in a bag that we can use when they found out that we are going to the park for a picnic) that made my bday weekend truly memorable. We are truly grateful especially to Stan, Nils and Catherine. Will definitely stay at the Loden next time we come back to Vancouver.

I stay at the Loden hotel regularly for work. It is located centrally in Vancouver in a quiet area. There is a vibrant bar and restaurant attached. The staff are excellent, their appearance is immaculate , they are so professional but at the same time so welcoming and friendly making you feel special and like you are being welcomed home when you visit. The rooms are pristine with a very comfortable bed and environment, great shower and fitted out well with fridge and coffee machine etc. I always look forward to going back. On a previous visit they had just been awarded a Michelin Key and it was great to see the pride all the staff had in this achievement. In conclusion, the attention to detail, the caliber and dedication of the staff. The small touches, like being greeted outside on arrival, the welcome note from the manager, the hot black current tea that magically appears in your room just before you arrive, make this a very special place. Congratulations to all the team for making it such, and I consider it the best hotel I have stayed in, ever. Well done.

It’s a fabulous hotel. Extremely well located, very nice rooms, comfortable beds, quiet. But the highlight is the fantastic staff that couldn't be friendlier and more helpful. For us, a real delight in staying at the Loden was interacting with all their great people.

The concierge reached out a few days before our arrival to see what we needed. I was able to add a name to the reservation. I also advised that I was arriving on the Canadian, a train that often arrives hours late. As we progressed across Canada, the train lost hours, then made up a few. The hotel responded to each email kindly. They reminded me that my booking via American Express might allow me a noon check-in. Miraculously, we arrived at 11:56 am. It was hailing. A female employee in a brown dress hustled out to help with luggage in the hail. I was amazed. We did get the early check-in. The bathroom had a shower and a tub. They responded to each request within 5 minutes. We stayed 2 nights. Each day we returned, there was a fresh carafe of cold water with lime. We did the same-day laundry and turned it in the night before. Once again, they came to the rescue. I had not removed my wallet from my pants pocket. They returned it as soon as they found it. This was simply amazing service. Most hotels put the wallet in lost and found, and you are lucky to get it back. The attached restaurant is also very good. I thank the team at the Loden for showing that they are the best.

I travel a lot for work and this is hands down the best hotel I stay at. The location is perfect, the rooms are of high quality but the best part about the hotel is the incredible staff. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as perfect as it can be. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.
