Never stayed at a hotel that has such friendly welcoming staff! Me and my boyfriend had such an amazing time for a one night getaway at the opus hotel Vancouver! Scott welcomed us right when we pulled up and truly went above and beyond! Really the only place I want to stay in Vancouver! So close to everything! Thank you and we will be back :).

What an absolute treat! Can’t think of a better end to our first, but by no means last, trip to Canada. The Opus was the perfect place for the last 3 nights of our 9 nights in BC. You’re spoilt for choices in Yaletown, from dining, drinking, shopping, to exploring the city - either on foot or the complimentary Opus e-bikes, which we took out for a ride along the sea wall and around Stanley Park. A genuinely warm welcome from the front desk staff on arrival and throughout our stay made us feel like regular visitors, and the same cab be said of the housekeeping staff. It really seemed liked there wasn’t anything they wouldn’t try to do for you. We upgraded to a deluxe king room, and it was divine! Roomy, comfortable, stylishly decorated, and with great amenities, we particularly appreciated the soaking tub, especially after a long day walking around the city. We have no hesitation recommending the Opus, and we really look forward to staying again on our next trip to Vancouver.

This is a really great hotel. The location in Yaletown is fantastic and it’s across from the Canada line train station which is super convenient. It’s a short 5 minute walk to the waterfront! The hotel has nice design and a lovely lobby bar with great drinks and food. The staff at the front desk and the bar were friendly fly and helpful. We got a room upgrade to a beautiful suite which was fabulous. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Opus is my always choice when in Vancouver. Super friendly staff in a stylish boutique hotel setting with a lively restaurant-bar, and a fantastic selection of rooms in a very convenient location. Knowledgeable valet staff will treat your car with car if you have one. Also, the best showers in any hotel bathroom in Vancouver.

I would totally recommend this hotel to all who come to Vancouver. Very special!! We were hot and tired after walking a mile and a half to the hotel from the cruise port to be greeted by the hotel with champagne and kindness. We knew our room would most likely not be ready, but no problem! They found us a room in our category and sent our bags up while topping our champagne glasses off all the way to the rim. My husband enjoyed a lively sports discussion while I enjoyed my beverage and once we got to our room- all I could say was “wow.” Beautiful!!! This was our first trip to Vancouver and this area is amazing as is the hotel. We walked everywhere. Staff is wonderful as is the cleanliness and decor of our room. Can’t wait for a return visit. It will definitely be here!!!

It is so rare to find an independent hotel anymore, or a true boutique property. Opus is both and a great place to stay in Vancouver. Because it is not part of a huge conglomerate, the staff is extremely personable and you get a real boutique vibe - with intimate spaces, quirky design, and staff that remembers your name. Here are my notes:
• trendy, upscale Yaletown neighborhood - walkable to the best restaurants, music venues, and sports arenas.
• public transportation (including subway to airport) at doorstep
• very good value
• Signature Amenities include transfer to cruise port
• modern aesthetic, but rooms need just a tiny bit of an update
• breakfast menu is a bit sparse but tasty with excellent service

My husband and I selected a weekend in Vancouver at the Opus Hotel. With the hotel's Mercedes available to take us about the city, it was a total delight. The suite was well appointed, quiet and relaxing. The hotel restaurant provided delightful French bistro food, the bar in the lobby was eclectic and the staff was always available to assist and be helpful. We plan to return to Vancouver next summer and stay at the Opus again.
