Every metropolis has one - that one neighborhood that seems to pulsate with an extra vibrant intensity. New York has SoHo. Paris has the Left Bank. London has Kensington. And Vancouver has Yaletown. Guest rooms are high design, high fashion and sure to impress. Bold colors offer a stay you will never forget. Featuring deluxe spa-bathrooms, executive business desks, modern furniture and floor-to-ceiling windows, you will want to book your next stay at check-out. Perfectly situated a short drive from from the cruise ship terminal, adjacent to the sea-wall, Stanley Park, Granville Island and surrounded by the city's best restaurants and shops, OPUS is more than somewhere to stay, it is somewhere to be. While you are here, enjoy our brand new New York style pizzeria, Capo. Casual, fun, energetic dinning that will have you dreaming of the best wood-oven pizza in the morning. The Spritz, our cozy new 22-seat cocktail bar, will be the perfect start or end of your day.

Great base to explore Vancouver from. We stayed 3 times over our 3 week holiday, returning happily between trips to Vancouver Island and Alaska. On one visit we opted for an upgrade and got a room with 3 TVs! That's a record for us, but spoiled us for future visits ;). Would definitely recommend it. (the lobby and restaurant music could be improved but we didn't have to suffer it for too long).

Front desk MGR Scott was very welcoming and provided great advise for dinners, places to visit . All the staff were great and the room very clean and enjoyable.

Had a nice little stay here but the rooms can get very noisy. The hotel is located very conveniently near shops and an array of restaurants. Staff nice and friendly. Surprisingly, at the amount paid per night, no breakfast was not included. And the rate isn't cheap! Would stay here again but would request a different room.

Sorry for the delayed review — I stayed at this hotel around Christmas 2025, and it was AMAZING. I may be slightly biased because I had one of the coolest rooms, but honestly, what truly made this stay unforgettable was the staff. They are some of the best people I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. They make you feel so welcomed and valued that even if the hotel itself hadn’t been incredible (which it absolutely was), they still would have made the experience feel luxurious. A special thank you to Scott Caporale — truly exceptional. Kind, professional, always reachable, and always willing to go the extra mile to help. And Patrizia at the front desk deserves recognition as well. She has such a positive energy and warm approach that instantly makes you feel at ease. Since moving to BC, I’ve stayed at many hotels in Vancouver because I like trying different places each time. But after my stay at Opus, I decided this is the one I’ll keep coming back to (especially as long as Scott is there 😊). Thank you again for such a wonderful experience 🙏

It is so rare to find an independent hotel anymore, or a true boutique property. Opus is both and a great place to stay in Vancouver. Because it is not part of a huge conglomerate, the staff is extremely personable and you get a real boutique vibe - with intimate spaces, quirky design, and staff that remembers your name. Here are my notes:
• trendy, upscale Yaletown neighborhood - walkable to the best restaurants, music venues, and sports arenas.
• public transportation (including subway to airport) at doorstep
• very good value
• Signature Amenities include transfer to cruise port
• modern aesthetic, but rooms need just a tiny bit of an update
• breakfast menu is a bit sparse but tasty with excellent service

My husband and I selected a weekend in Vancouver at the Opus Hotel. With the hotel's Mercedes available to take us about the city, it was a total delight. The suite was well appointed, quiet and relaxing. The hotel restaurant provided delightful French bistro food, the bar in the lobby was eclectic and the staff was always available to assist and be helpful. We plan to return to Vancouver next summer and stay at the Opus again.
