Opus best place to stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

Our first time to stay here at Opus and we truly liked it. The location is very convenient. We took the train from the airport and the hotel is just across the station. Lots of places to eat around the vicinity too! I wish I tried the Italian place CAPO but I plan of visiting and staying again at Opus so I have that to look forward to. I particularly liked the “turn down” service especially the secret blend oil provided, I noted the company it is prepared from so I can order when I ran out of it. We use it every night and that seemed to help us with our sleep. The water being provided, believe it or not, I look forward to because it reminds me to take my meds. It came with a chocolate too. I also liked the welcome cake for my birthday and the personalized message. Thoughtful things goes a long way. I will definitely recommend the place. I also need to mention the cleanliness of the bathroom and the comfort of the bed and pillows. We did not have to call because we were provided. Thank you, Opus and keep up the good work in making your guests feel important and well taken care of.

Fabulous Hotel

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The location is ideal, walking distance to everything you need including the skytrain stop across the street. The room was lovely, opting to stay in a king room with soaker tub and fireplace, facing the courtyard. Quiet, calm and very cool vibes. Surrounded by restaurants, bars and coffee shops, everything so close. The staff were absolutely lovely, helpful, always providing recommendations. We will definitely be back!!!

Lovely hotel in the fun neighborhood of Yaletown.

Excellent location for our trip to attend a concert at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, which was a pleasant 15 min walk away. The hotel is across the street from the Yaletown Roundtree skytrain stop and about 3 blocks from False Creek. There are multiple cute, little water ferries you can get to Granville Island and other nearby locations. I had never spent time in Yaletown before, but it is an upscale southern downtown area with plenty of restaurants and walks in the area. It is a pet friendly hotel with a nice restaurant and bar connected (Capo & The Spritz). Friendly staff. Only valet parking. Our courtside room was lovely with a door to the courtyard, fireplace, separate shower and bathtub with heated floor, and cozy bedroom. Definitely would come back for a stay.

Great location across the train station. Restaurants, coffee shops, Granville water taxi, harbour are all 5 minutes away. Good room.

It is so rare to find an independent hotel anymore, or a true boutique property. Opus is both and a great place to stay in Vancouver. Because it is not part of a huge conglomerate, the staff is extremely personable and you get a real boutique vibe - with intimate spaces, quirky design, and staff that remembers your name. Here are my notes:
• trendy, upscale Yaletown neighborhood - walkable to the best restaurants, music venues, and sports arenas.
• public transportation (including subway to airport) at doorstep
• very good value
• Signature Amenities include transfer to cruise port
• modern aesthetic, but rooms need just a tiny bit of an update
• breakfast menu is a bit sparse but tasty with excellent service

My husband and I selected a weekend in Vancouver at the Opus Hotel. With the hotel's Mercedes available to take us about the city, it was a total delight. The suite was well appointed, quiet and relaxing. The hotel restaurant provided delightful French bistro food, the bar in the lobby was eclectic and the staff was always available to assist and be helpful. We plan to return to Vancouver next summer and stay at the Opus again.
