Very gracious people at the front desk. Helpful and accommodating. Rooms are kept very clean. Also the location is perfect. Great access to the waterfront for walking and the various ferries. The surrounding area has some of the city’s best restaurants. The hotel manager adds to the hotel’s friendliness.

This hotel was amazing! We enjoyed the E bikes, the bar and breakfast were both top-notch, the bed was extremely comfortable in. The overall room was amazing. And you cannot beat this location!

First time stay at this property and what a fabulous experience. Normally when I come to Vancouver I stay down near the Waterfront so first time in Yaletown. So glad I made the move. Ok Opus Hotel is in a fab location, so many bars, restaurants (for Thai Zab Zaab is a must - 1 min walk from hotel) and the Yaletown train station is across the street. If you want to walk down to the Waterfront it’s about 20 mins. The rooms are beautifully appointed, modern, a little funky, and just work. Beds are comfortable. Nespresso machines are a nice touch. Modern TV set up - lots of channels and you can stream straight from your phone. Love this feature. The real “show stoppers” of this hotel are the staff. Super friendly and will do their best to help any need. Especially the team on the front desk. Just amazing. Thank you. If you have some free time, grab one of the complimentary E bikes. So much fun.

The Opus is a great boutique city hotel. Fabulous location in Yaletown near the water and an amazing roster of restaurants. Staff was extremely friendly and fun and helpful. They had free electric bikes for us to use to bike to Stanley Park. Everything was chill and fun and we would definitely stay there again! Highly recommended!

The hotel is sleek and handsome, the staff are very friendly l, helpful and easy to chat with. The bedding is some of the softest i ever slept on. This hotel is in a great location in a very walkable city, but you don't even need to go far to find great cafes, restaurants and bars all around you. The one thing, and it's a weird one is the exhibitionist choice of bathroom windows. Wall to wall windows line the bathroom with an option of full curtain or a less opaque screen. If you dont want to give downtown Vancouver a show, you have to sacrifice natural sunlight in your room every time you need to use the toilet or take a shower, which is too bad because the morning light is so beautiful. It is a really odd choice in the design

It is so rare to find an independent hotel anymore, or a true boutique property. Opus is both and a great place to stay in Vancouver. Because it is not part of a huge conglomerate, the staff is extremely personable and you get a real boutique vibe - with intimate spaces, quirky design, and staff that remembers your name. Here are my notes:
• trendy, upscale Yaletown neighborhood - walkable to the best restaurants, music venues, and sports arenas.
• public transportation (including subway to airport) at doorstep
• very good value
• Signature Amenities include transfer to cruise port
• modern aesthetic, but rooms need just a tiny bit of an update
• breakfast menu is a bit sparse but tasty with excellent service

My husband and I selected a weekend in Vancouver at the Opus Hotel. With the hotel's Mercedes available to take us about the city, it was a total delight. The suite was well appointed, quiet and relaxing. The hotel restaurant provided delightful French bistro food, the bar in the lobby was eclectic and the staff was always available to assist and be helpful. We plan to return to Vancouver next summer and stay at the Opus again.
