Wonderful stay at Opus

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

From our arrival at Opus Hotel, we felt welcomed and cared for. Check-in came with a chilled glass of sparkling rosé and a genuine warm welcome from Stephanie & Nelson at the front desk. The room was bright, comfortable, and featured a beautiful view of false creek. The e-bikes provided by the hotel where a fun way to explore and get around the city, and booking a reservation to use them was simple, thanks to the help of Patrizia. A special shout-out to Jacinta, Harrison, Ricardo, and Elif for their marvellous service and hospitality. And when it was time to check out, front desk management represented by Scott, sent me off with the same warmth I was welcomed with. Although my visit felt short, and I wanted to stay for a few more days, it gives me a reason to comeback. I will definitely be returning to Opus Hotel. 🙌🏽

Wonderful weekend getaway

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

We had such a great stay at OPUS this past weekend! Immediately greeted with welcoming service (and delish rosé), settled into our beautiful executive suite with a view of the water and quiet despite the streets below, and enjoyed great meals at the restaurant Capo. Room was spotless and the bathroom “Tallu” products smelled AMAZING (such a treat to have bath salts provided). Highly recommend having cocktails in the lounge/restaurant - best whiskey sour (their rosso sour) i’ve had! The location is also unbeatable for all things downtown Vancouver. Thanks again OPUS team, we can’t wait to stay with you again!

Absolutely Stellar!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

So, I now completely get all the hype around the Opus. The hotel is great of course, and restaurant/lounge is stellar, but the people and the customer service is what really sets it apart. I think we've found our new home away from home in Vancouver, and I suspected that the moment we arrived, when we were each handed a glass of rosé.

Great place to stay in Yaletown, Vancouver

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Opus is a lovely place to stay in the heart of Yaletown. We had a great night's sleep on the comfy beds Staff were wonderful - so helpful and accomodating. Lots of lovely cafes, eateries and bars nearby. Would highly recommend.

It is so rare to find an independent hotel anymore, or a true boutique property. Opus is both and a great place to stay in Vancouver. Because it is not part of a huge conglomerate, the staff is extremely personable and you get a real boutique vibe - with intimate spaces, quirky design, and staff that remembers your name. Here are my notes:
• trendy, upscale Yaletown neighborhood - walkable to the best restaurants, music venues, and sports arenas.
• public transportation (including subway to airport) at doorstep
• very good value
• Signature Amenities include transfer to cruise port
• modern aesthetic, but rooms need just a tiny bit of an update
• breakfast menu is a bit sparse but tasty with excellent service

My husband and I selected a weekend in Vancouver at the Opus Hotel. With the hotel's Mercedes available to take us about the city, it was a total delight. The suite was well appointed, quiet and relaxing. The hotel restaurant provided delightful French bistro food, the bar in the lobby was eclectic and the staff was always available to assist and be helpful. We plan to return to Vancouver next summer and stay at the Opus again.
