We came in late due to a delayed flight but Sam was there with a smile to greet us. He explained everything perfectly and made us feel comfortable knowing what all we needed to do before we left the next day on the cruise. The buffet in the morning was delicious and the waiter was such a nice guy. A baggage guy took care of our bags and had them delivered to our room on the ship which took a load of stress off of us. I plan to stay at this hotel anytime I am in Vancouver. Such a wonderful place.

We stayed here for two nights prior to our cruise for location and to stay in a lovely room. Room - good size. Location - perfect for cruise and general holidays. Concierge - arranged to have our bags transferred to the cruise. Made the start of our holiday in Vancouver perfect.

This was the greatest way to understand Vancouver and see many of the iconic landmarks without leaving your room. We stayed up high with access to the concierge level and included breakfast, but… it was $800 a night. Great way to begin your adventure and the breakfast was fabulous; the view unmatched. The bell-stand takes your bags right from your room to your cruise ship suite. Take the “Canadian” train from the airport, it drops you a block away. For the train, pull out your credit card at all train stations and tap it as you go through the turnstiles. There are other non-chain hotels close-by such as the Fairmont across the street. For adventures take the Expo train from the Waterfront Station to the Yaletown/Roundhouse station, get off and take a five block hike to the Gas Light District to watch the Steam Clock. You can also reach the Granville Island Market by taking the train and transfer to a water taxi, best place for food. The Bellhops know everything and the hotel has paper maps. Everything is very close, skip the hop-hop off bus; boring and slow. That’s all I know, but everything at the Pan Pacific is pricey. It’s a very beautiful venue.

Wow. For some reason we were luckily upgraded to a suite with balcony, possibly do to capacity bookings with 3 cruise 🚢 ships at the dock. Regardless, staff from luggage to check-in extremely nice and helpful. Ron at desk showed us some close attractions within a short walk and provided a map. Great views.
