Waiting waiting waiting

So far, this has not been a good experience. My flight arrived and I made it to the hotel a bit over 2 hours ago and I was just told that rooms slate not ready and that they would text me when they are. So far nothing. I even checked back in with the front desk and got a curt reply that regular check-in time is 4pm and that they would text me. Meanwhile I am watching others come up to the desk and get checked in. If I was not here for a conference, I would have left and found another hotel. This does not bode well for the rest of my stay.

Amazing staff

Iker took care of us on the way in and on the way out. Professional and personable. As far As far as I’m concerned , he is the face of the Pan Pacific and they couldn’t have a better representative

Confusing

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Came in through what seemed to be the main entrance but no sign of reception and no staff to advise. It is on a different floor and with only one working elevator it was chaotic trying to get to reception and then room on 11th floor The room was okay Shower is in the bath with a plastic curtain so water difficult to control not my idea of 5 star

Dated hotel with nice views, but many broken parts.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

We stayed here for two nights before a cruise in September 2025. The hotel room (deluxe harbor view) is very dated, there were no outlets by the sides of the beds and if there was one, it was occupied by a lamp or alarm clock. At least provide SOME sort of extension cord or a lamp/nightstand that has built in USB ports. Anything. Also it is very expensive, I guess because of location. Views were lovely. After our first night, our air conditioning broke in our room. We called someone to come fix it but after waiting almost an hour no one came, and we had to go out to for a dinner reservation. When we got back, there was an engineer in our room who basically said, nope A/C can't be fixed. So we had to go back downstairs to the front desk, and she gave us a room on the top floor. So we had to pack up and move ourselves. The top floor is apparently the club level floor, and a much nicer room, however we couldn't use the club. Fine. The room definitely felt much more modern than the previous room we had although the outlet/charging situation here is not much better. The real kicker was during embarkation morning. So the hotel has only two functioning elevators for all of their rooms (two were out of service). It took us about 45 minutes just to get ON an elevator that would transport us downstairs. Because so many people wanted to use the elevator to get on their cruises, and all the elevators were full, guests were just riding the elevator all the way up just to get down. Every time an elevator would arrive, it would be full, and obviously we are on the top floor so there is no where for anyone to go. People's behavior is not the hotels fault, I know, but because of the whole situation people were just doing everything they can just to get dosntairs. It was a very stressful embarkation morning and everyone on the elevators were in a bad mood, and everyone was in the same cranky boat. Some of us tried to get staff to take us down in the service elevator but we were told no. But when talking to other guests later on I found out that they had people take them downstairs. I'm so disappointed that we weren't made aware of the elevator situation beforehand, I would have stayed elsewhere. The only pro to staying here is the location and the fact they are able to transfer your suitcases to your cruise ship for you. If they would only get the elevator situation under control and do a vast room refresh, then it would up to par with other 4-star hotels in the area.

Great hotel

Beautiful hotel right next to cruise terminal. Friendly, helpful staff. They even helped us with a special celebration for my wife's retirement. Lots of walkable dining options close by. There's also a nice biking / walking path next to the hotel.
