Pan Pacific Vancouver

We had a wonderful stay at Pan Pacific. My husband had booked a room for my birthday. When we checked in we were informed that we had been given a complimentary upgrade. What a beautiful room! We had a panoramic view of the harbour and mountains. We could see all the activity around the pool. The room was beautiful, well appointed and spacious. While we were in the room there was a knock on the door and we were given a lovely chocolate cake with happy birthday written on the plate. What a wonderful surprise that was. The bed was very comfortable and it was a treat to enjoy the evening in the room after dinner. We slept very well. We parked in the parking lot under the hotel. The staff were all very helpful Pan Pacific helped to make my birthday truly memorable.

I get to stay at the The Pan Pacific Vancouver once a year for work and I always look forward to my stay here. It's everything a hotel should be, but rarely is these days. All of the staff from the doorman, to the front desk, to housekeeping and otherwise go above and beyond to be helpful and are always professional. The amenities are high quality and well kept, and the rooms are clean and thoughtfully set-up. The in-room dinning is one of my favourite things about this hotel - the little card you can leave outside your door with your breakfast order is an introverts dream haha! I stay at a lot of hotels for work and this one is by far my favourite. P.S. if you're staying for a personal trip, I highly recommend paying the extra bit to get a water facing view - it's well worth it.

I stayed here last month, and my experience did not fully meet expectations. The location is excellent, the view was stunning, and the room was clean. However, there were several issues during my stay. The parking stalls were very tight and the parking was paid. Room service was also disappointing. My order arrived with a missing item and when it was eventually delivered over 15 minutes later, it was cold and I was charged an additional fee. There were also maintenance issues during my stay. The shower made a loud noise and the cold tap in the sink flooded the counter when used. The walls were not well soundproofed and I could hear karaoke from a neighbouring room after midnight. For 300 dollars per night, these issues were unexpected. I reported them at checkout and was assured they would be addressed, so I am willing to give the hotel another chance on my next visit.

Hotel was clean and inviting, good location. However, TV was not working in our room and after calling front desk to send someone up to fix it for us, nobody showed up until the next day at our checkout time. Hot tub was out of service, and the club lounge is underwhelming. It has good views/nice lounge but not great food options. We went to grab a snack at 9pm and everything was being packed up for the night when it doesn’t close until 10pm.
