Excellent location! And the staff is so amazing! I felt like we had a personal assistant with Iker. He was so knowledgeable and super helpful with the check in process. He patiently answered all our questions and gave some great tips. We stayed here due to its close proximity to the cruise terminal. We knew it was close, but didn’t realize just how close! It’s the perfect location when staying the night before boarding the ship. You can check in for your cruise right from the hotel AND the hotel will actually take your luggage to your ship for you, so you don’t even have to worry about it. You can enjoy your morning and then just head to the ship, which is right out the hotel doors. So close!! Highly recommend.

We had such a wonderful experience at this hotel! The staff was so nice especially our bellman Iker. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. What stood out most was how kind and sweet he was to our children. He went out of his way to make them smile and feel special, which meant so much to us as parents. His positive attitude, genuine kindness, and excellent service made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you for going above and beyond—we truly appreciated it!

This was one of the worst hotel experiences my family has ever had. We arrived at Pan Pacific Vancouver with a one year old baby and a six year old child after a cruise, expecting a smooth check in and a special stay for our son’s first birthday. Instead, the hotel turned the day into a stressful and humiliating mess. The front desk told us our room would be ready around noon because we were supposedly receiving an upgrade. We waited with two small children based on that explanation. Later, it became clear there was no real upgrade. The room offered appeared to be the same category we had originally booked, and even worse, the same room category was showing for less than what we paid. The issue was not simply that the room was not ready. Hotels get busy. The issue was the misleading communication, the contradictory information, and the complete lack of care for a family traveling with young children. After we decided to leave, staff first told us the cancellation fee would be waived. Based on that, we booked another hotel. Then the hotel reversed its position and tried to charge us one night anyway. I spent a long time trying to get a manager to speak with our travel angent and confirm what the hotel itself had already told us, but management was nowhere to be found when it mattered. To make the experience even worse, when we went to collect our luggage and leave, we were told there could be luggage handling charges. So after all the confusion caused by the hotel, we were left walking away with four suitcases, a six year old child, and a baby on his first birthday. This was supposed to be a special family stay. Instead, Pan Pacific Vancouver made it chaotic, frustrating, and deeply disappointing. For a hotel that presents itself as premium, the service we experienced was disorganized, cold, and completely unacceptable.

2 individuals were exceptional: Iker was very helpful orienteering us to our space and not just luggage. Also - concierge William was very patient and helpful with reservations, restaurants, etc.

The hotel was the best from the moment we arrived until we left. We arrived in Canada several hours before check in time so the hotel kept our luggage so we could explore the city. When we checked in, they brought our luggage to us within a few minutes of us calling. The front desk was also very nice and helpful. The bellhop at the front door always asked if we needed a taxi or directions when we left the hotel. They also transported all of our luggage to the cruise ship we were leaving on. They worked very hard to take any extra work off off of our shoulders and it made everything pretty stress free. The hotel gets 5 stars and the service at the front door gets 6. When we returned from our cruise we had several hours until our flights and we didn't want to sit at the airport all day. They kept our luggage for us for a very small fee so we could roam around the city and then we got our things and took the train straight to the airport. I will definitely stay there again if I ever make it back to Vancouver
