Warwick Le Lagon - Vanuatu
Erakor Lagoon
Port Vila
Vanuatu, Vanuatu
Staying at the Warwick now and it’s great! Huge, beautiful grounds, our garden room is very spacious, nice veranda to sit out, not too far from any facilities but not noisy either. The staff really make your stay, so friendly and welcoming, they can’t do enough for you. From the food and beverage staff, to the hilarious team at the watersports to the lovely bar staff - they are all fabulous. Breakfast buffet has a big range of choices, beautiful fresh fruit, omelettes made fresh for you, pastries, toast, pancakes, French toast - you would have to be trying very hard not to find something to eat! Was a bit worried by some of the reviews, but having been here for four days now, can only advise others to ignore the negative nellies and come and see how great it is for yourselves. Literally the only downside has been a couple of rude people with entitled kids - who need to get out on the island and realise just how lucky they are. Vanuatu has done it tough for the last couple of years with covid, etc - but the people are still so welcoming and pretty much everything is open. From incredible waterfalls, snorkelling, horse riding, culture - really hard to beat as a destination, and the Warwick is the perfect barefoot luxury venue to enjoy it from.wish we never had to leave, but we’re certainly going to be back!

A terrible resort. Don’t trust the photos or believe the inclusions on the Jetstar website. As a frequent traveller I’ve stayed in resorts in over a dozen countries .Went for a mother/daughter holiday to the Warwick.Resort ran out of drinking water, served us raw chicken, had blood on one of the few beach chairs, broken and ripped gym equipment, poo stained bath towels, old and ripped pool towels. We met many people who’d contracted food poisoning from resort food. My daughter got food poisoning from the breakfast buffet and spent 1 day vomiting. Resort is run down and most of the staff clearly don’t want to be there and won’t serve customers. We paid $300 to change our flights and went home early.

Our stay at Le Lagon was just right for us. It was so relaxing and easy to unwind. The view from Lagoon View Rooms was amazing. Was a little surprised at everything seemed expensive in Vanuatu. Expect to pay Aussie price for everything. Buffet breakfast was brilliant. Buffet themed food was OK but not great. Wild Ginger Restaurant food was fantastic. Huge shout out to Karina our housekeeper who went above and beyond with looking after us. Also to Peter at the pool bar and Brian who were much fun. What we loved the most was the friendly people who all had a story to tell and so easy to get to know. Having looked up previous reviews and information about Le Lagon I'd like to clarify: It does have free wi fi Water is supplied every day. Sheets and towels cleaned often. There is a grocery store for necessities in easy walking distance from the entrance of resort. Also a Thai Restaurant in walking distance as well.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Warwick. The resort is extremely complete, with a large choice of activities to suit all ages: snorkelling, kayaking, boat trips, golf, tennis, gym, spa, several swimming pools and a kids club. A daily entertainment program includes fire shows, concerts and various evening activities. This allows you to take full advantage of the atmosphere, without ever getting bored. We booked a overwater bungalow: it was simply exceptional. Spacious, well-equipped, tastefully decorated and with a breathtaking view. The staff were impeccable throughout: attentive, professional and always smiling. On the dining front, the buffet offers a different theme every day of the week, providing plenty of variety. The second restaurant, à la carte, offers refined, tasty cuisine in a more elegant setting. We highly recommend the Warwick Le Lagon to anyone looking for an idyllic setting. An unforgettable experience!

Far from an upscale 5 (or even 4) star resort with old rooms and aging furniture. Appalling levels of service from staff who don’t seem to want to be there and will often completely ignore you when approach to order a drink from any of the resorts bars where it can take upto 15mins to receive the drink(s) you asked for - The fastest I saw any of the servers move was when they’re chasing down customers who walked away from the bar without signing their guest check! Food wasn’t up to much either and the nightly themed buffets were pretty poor too. Not sure where the reviewers leaving 5 star reviews stayed because it cannot have been at Warwick Le Lagon.
