phenomenal. no more to say
absolutely amazing staff. i made friends with two of the cooks. i'll be honest can't remember one name but Loisy became a very good friend of mine and makes the best beef i've ever had. great guy and vibe and overall a beautiful resort. a lot of people complain about cuba but i cant. thanks again

Fabulous
We had a great time. This may have been our best experience in Cuba. First time to Varadero. Room was clean and comfortable. So much food! Cuban restaurant was so good we went twice! Alvero (I think his name was) fabulous! The Cafe food was even good. The guys golfed twice and tried to go again a third time they had so much fun. Girls had massages. Excursions were fun we drove our own jeep! Bring a beach volleyball that’s all that was missing! We will definitely go back to this resort.

Everything was good! Love cuba! We had a great entertainer - Luis Eduardo Genisl! The people of Cuba are amazing! The food was great!

Wonderful experience
This experience has been incredibly enjoyable not only for this paradise but also for the beautiful staff we met at the Meliá Varadero hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed every single day. The rooms are consistently comfortable and clean. Please visit this place and also consider tipping the staff.

E.Coli / visible cross contamination
Be aware of E.Coli, we believe we got contaminated on the beach grill. 1 staff was serving your hamburger/hotdog by adding raw meat on the grill for other customers and then toping up your burger with salad right after. Cross contamination obviously. our entire group of 10 has been sick, i was the first one. I did almost not make it, diarrhea for 2 weeks with hypothermia with complications. Am writing now because of my recovery is still not complete 9 months later. Please be mindful and careful. I do hope staff received hygiene and cross contamination training, i do understand it’s warm and been at a grill is exhausting but only 1 staff was clearly not even trying to keep tourists safe. To top it off, i did mention to the staff i was ill and no reaction, including manager that just wanted our tip and was i no am so sorry. What any accommodation or suggestions, no. I have to say, the friendliness and the hospitality was wonderful other then that. Thank you
