Baglioni Hotel Luna

Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful!!! In a perfect location, a few feet from St. Mark's Square. the room we had was stunning. The breakfast buffet was amazing. the food was fantastic but the room was breathtaking.

This is a truly lovely small hotel. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We arrived very early for our stay and they did their best to get us into a room as early as possible. The rooms and bathrooms are very nice, but the decor is a bit over the top! The location of the hotel is perfect: it's right off San Marco square, but because it's tucked on a side street, you escape a lot of the heavy bustle associated with the area.

On a recent trip to Venice, we stayed at the fabulous Bagiloni Hotel Luna. The stay was great from every perspective. The water taxi from the airport drops you right at the steps of the Hotel. You are literally a five minute walk to the main square in Venice. Almost all the excursions were close by so it was easy to stop by and hit the restroom or freshen up between trips. The staff was fantastic and the concierge made very good recommendations for activities and restaurants. The free breakfast in the morning that the hotel provided was fantastic Staying at this hotel makes the trip to Venice so much nicer when we return will be staying here again for sure

On the first morning, we had breakfast at the hotel. While I was getting a salad, a small child sneezed twice—once on my plate and then directly on the salad portion of the buffet. The salad area was small, consisting of just greens, tomatoes, corn, and cucumbers. I reported the incident to the breakfast area manager, but he responded as if I had done something wrong for not eating the salad. Unfortunately, the sneezed-on salad continued to be served to other guests. The maid service was good, though they start making quite a bit of noise around 7 a.m. The hotel bar, however, was excellent. I wish I knew the bartender’s name — he was kind and served an addictive limoncello spritz!

My Husband and I had a wonderful trip to Venice. We spent 3 nights at Baglioni Hotel Luna! The location was great, and the Hotel is beautiful. What an exceptional Staff! We received such great care and with the help of the Concierge team, went to restaurants we might not have found. The breakfast room setting was beautiful and the offerings were delicious. This is a 5 star and I would highly recommend the Luna without any reservation. Situated right around the corner from San Marco and other Venice sights.
