Belmond Hotel Cipriani

We have been going to the hotel for many years and appreciate all the recent upgrades to the physical property and the culinary offerings. The rooms can be anywhere from spectacular to average to mediocre, depending on how much you pay, and whether there was a recent renovation The good ones are spectacular The service has always been exceptional, but as recently run into some problems due to seasonal staffing issues and the change in management Hopefully this will get resolved soon, but at these prices guests would expect to have impeccable service and unfortunately, that is not always the case. We will still return because this property and the setting is unique in the world and heavenly oasis that is hard to beat

No one can argue that this hotel is visually stunning! I enjoyed one of the best bellinis that I’ve ever had, upon arrival. The rooms were beautifully appointed, fine linens, and we were welcomed with a gorgeous arrival gift in our room. The cost of staying here is definitely prohibitive, but if you want to splurge for a wonderful experience, this is the place to do it! It was my mother‘s second time at this hotel, 10 years later, and she said it was just as beautiful as the first. We were slightly disappointed that we weren’t offered more assistance after my mother discovered her passport was missing. The management promised that they would help her, step-by-step, but she ended up having to do most of the steps on her own. At any rate, all of the serving staff was very kind and professional.

Arriving at the Cipriani always puts a smile on my face and a spring in my step. The property is stunning, nestled in lush gardens with views out the Lagoon and to St. Mark's Square. When the temperatures rise and the city gets busy, this is where you go to hide from it all, yet never farther than a gorgeous 10 minute board ride from Harry's Bar. The staff are absolutely amazing. Anything is possible, and we felt they were there to look after us and make us feel special. The breakfast is one of my favourites in the word. The heated saltwater pool with a view of St. Mark's Square and the Doge's Palace is just beyond. Definitely worth splurging and booking a suite with a roof terrace. You will never regret this! Save time for a walk in the gardens, and remember they have tennis courts!

Luxury guaranteed, fantastic location, Luxurious Hotel, attentive and engaging staff a must do! The hotel was located opposite St Marks square, Just a 7 minutes complementary private water taxi to St Marks and the Hotel own private Jetty. The water taxi was 24hr and every 10 to 15 minutes from the hotel to St Marks and from St Marks back to the Hotel. The rooms were luxurious with everything you needed, complimentary champagne, fruit and pastries welcomed you along with a hand written note from the manager and a novel for your retention. There was a vast selection of food for breakfast from fruit, pastries and cooked menu, tables over looking the water ways to St Marks added to the ambiance.

Wonderful property, we stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and it was beyond beautiful. Bathroom details were amazing and the products they give for use are great! Loved the saltwater pool, amazing pool bar service; dining at Cip’s for dinner was divine and has a great view of the sunset. Great breakfast offerings. Impressive how they have falconers patrolling the dining areas with hawks, to keep the pigeons from bothering by the diners. A pricey stay but SO special.
