Excellent breakfast service by Ludouico & Beatrice!! They were helpful and friendly in the guest experience. They presented with high level of service, elegance, and professionalism which makes them a great asset to the boutique hotel. I am so impressed with their thoughtfulness and attentiveness. They made sure you felt comfortable and welcomed during the entire experience. Giving our best compliments to both Beatrice and Ludouico!

An Unforgettable Blend of History, Luxury, and Kindness

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Ca' di Dio is one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at in Venice. The property is beautiful, elegant, and blends contemporary design with the city's historic character. Every space feels thoughtfully designed, creating a calm and comfortable atmosphere. What truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptional team. Hospitality at this level is rare, and every interaction reflected genuine care and professionalism. A special thank you to Schantal, Andrea, Patrice, Manuel, Marco, and Momo for making our stay so memorable. Their kindness, attention to detail, and willingness to help never went unnoticed. They made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. The entire team deserves recognition for creating such a warm and seamless experience. It's clear that everyone works together with pride and dedication, and that positive energy is felt throughout the hotel. Thank you to everyone at Ca' di Dio for making our visit to Venice so enjoyable. The people are what made this stay truly memorable, and we'll look back on it with great memories.

Ca’ di Dio Hotel Highly Recommended

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

On our first trip to Venice, my husband and I made what turned out to be an excellent choice in choosing Ca’ di Dio Hotel (“House of God”.) This hotel is gorgeous, the decor , with Murano glass in the lobby, spectacular. The service was first class, just spectacular! Most amazing however was the concierge, Ivan, who recommended amazing restaurants, and helped us take the local boat to the Galleries dell Academies. The room we had was lovely. We highly recommend this hotel for your next holiday to Venice.

Four-Figure Rates, Two-Star Service Execution

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Shocking lack of five-star service for a pre-paid booking. As long-term luxury travel enthusiasts who spend months on end at premier global properties (such as The Dorchester and The Balmoral), we understand what five-star hospitality should look like. Unfortunately, our arrival at Ca’ di Dio was entirely inconsistent with these standards and deeply disappointing. The Issue: We booked and fully pre-paid for a "Triple Room" (inherently licensed for three occupants) nearly a year ago. Upon arrival, we presented the front desk with our passports and the young man working the desk flagged an internal system error that registered our 9-year-old son as an infant. The Handling: While administrative glitches happen, the evening team's handling of this was unacceptable. We waited hours for a resolution. We went to dinner on property at Essentia hoping it would be sorted by the time we finished, but absolutely no progress had been made by 10pm. Our luggage was still sitting in the lobby and we had no room assigned. The Communication: There was a complete lack of updates or communication from the front desk staff for hours while we were dining in the courtyard. Per their reply on another platform where I submitted this review, Senior Management doesn't recognize a problem with this lack of communication by the front desk employee. The eventual resolution: Hours after arrival (and after our dinner), the room capacity was confirmed legally correct so the booking was settled and we were finally assigned the room. We didn't request or receive any upgrades to the triple room we paid for. A lot of stress for nothing. This tainted our arrival in Venice. Generally, one spends 4 figures a night to avoid any friction like this. Pros: The physical property is fine (though minimal/lacking art). Location is great. Head Concierge Ivan is amazing and ended up sending us on an unforgettable experience in Murano/Burano where I acquired a masterpiece by Pino Signoretto and will never forget my son watching the masters create art. Cons: The front desk management and customer service fail to meet basic luxury hospitality standards. Perhaps even more unfortunate, management doesn't seem to recognize this as an issue.
