Ca' di Dio

Our review of Alchemia Bar at Ca’ Di Dio Venice. They serve lovely craft cocktails and wonderful food in a refined setting. Located on Riva Ca' di Dio near San Marco Square, the bar offers a sophisticated atmosphere with views of San Giorgio Maggiore. They are known for creative reinterpretations of Venetian classics and international drinks. The bar is part of Ca' di Dio, a ci Small Luxury Hotels property and 2025 MICHELIN Key hotel in Venice. The service is elegant, they have lovely wines and cocktails, and the outdoor area overlooking the San Marco Basin is perfection. Marco took great care of us. Thank you! We enjoyed the service we received from Giulio and Dinit also. The view, food, wine and service were exceptional. 5 star service.

We went to Alchemia Bar for drinks with our friends. Marco and Philippe were outstanding and provided great customer service! We came one night and because we loved their drinks, atmosphere and service we came back the next day. They paired our drinks with the most delicious chocolates. Highly recommend if you are looking for original cocktails and a superb atmosphere.

Marco and Philip will make you feel like a queen. My husband and I will be back. The drinks are crafted with elegance and talent. They are beautiful and delicious. The vibe is high end meets elevated modern. A must visit if you are in Venice

Alchemia is fantastic bar with an amazing atmosphere and absolutely incredible cocktails! Every drink was perfectly crafted, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. What made the experience even better was the outstanding service from our waiter, Marco Philip! He was extremely friendly, attentive, and professional, making sure we had a wonderful time. Great cocktails, excellent service, and a fantastic vibe. Highly recommended, and a special thanks to Marco Philip for making our visit so memorable!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful luxury hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything felt exceptional. The beds were among the most comfortable we’ve ever experienced, and the breakfast was outstanding. The restaurant and bar were equally impressive, with wonderful food, drinks, and service. A special shout-out to the incredible team who made our stay so memorable. Filippo at the front desk was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Giulio and Justin in the bar and restaurant took such great care of us and made every experience feel special. And Ivan was fantastic in helping us plan our activities and make the most of our time — his recommendations and assistance were invaluable. The hotel itself is beautiful, but it’s the people and the level of service that truly make this place stand out. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay. One word of caution: do your research before accepting the “free” boat ride to Murano. What sounds like a complimentary excursion turns into a very high-pressure sales experience at the Vetreria Venier glass factory…
