Pyotr Ilyich Tchiakovsky is one of the notable guests who have stayed at Hotel Londra Palace – he composed the first three movements of Symphony No. 4, originally titled "Do Leoni," in Room 106. Maybe the islands and 16th Century architecture he saw across the watery horizon inspired him. Rooms are individually decorated with ornate fabric walls and Biedermeier furniture, while the restaurant – named Do Leoni – serves Venetian classics under crystal chandeliers.

From stepping off the water taxi we experienced wonderful guest service. The hotel receptionists we so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The concierges were helpful which enhanced our enjoyment of Venice. The room was clean and comfortable as was the entire hotel. The view of the lagoon from the room especially at sunrise and sunset set the scene and atmosphere of Venice. Within the room it was quiet and with the shutters closed at night no light filtered through. Breakfast options were plentiful and the quality of food in the restaurant including the service were excellent. The hotel is a short walk from St Marks Square. We loved every minute in Venice and staying at Londra Palace enhanced our stay. When we return to Venice we will stay at Londra Palace again. To all the staff, 'Grazie Mille'.

We had a fabulous stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. The location was amazing; just a two-minute walk from San Marco Square and a convenient base for exploring Venice. Dinner at the hotel was great, and we also thoroughly enjoyed breakfast. The welcoming staff, excellent location and lovely meals made this a memorable stay.

The Londra Palace was fantastic from the moment you check-in (seamless). The water taxi stops right in front. We were upgraded to a lagoon view and had a lovely welcome amenity. The location was excellent - very close to St. Mark's. Dinner was delicious, nice having live music. We didn't stay for their breakfast because we had a morning flight to catch but they put together nice to-go breakfast boxes. Ilaria at the front desk was super helpful with a package I was expecting and troubleshooting our online tickets to Doge's Palace. My only regret was staying only 1 night.

Stayed 5 nights over Easter. Arrived by water taxi and it just got better. Ideal location. The whole experience was simply outstanding. The staff are attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The communal areas are quiet, comfortable, stylish and relaxing. The service is 2nd to none. Loved the restaurant with great food and a greater wine list. The bar manager introduced me to Poli brandy and gave me directions to their shop. The General Manager was professional and approachable, he looked after us perfectly. Recommend their arranged tours, Murano & Burano. Plenty of good local restaurants within 5 minute stroll (book in advance). The Jules Verne Suite is so spacious and comfortable with a spectacular breathtaking view.

I highly recommend the Londra Palace. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The rooms are remodeled and fantastic. While the rooms and restaurant are first-rate, what really makes this place special is the staff - - they are available, friendly and terrifically knowledgeable.
