Venice, a captivating city which strikes the eye and moves the heart. Enveloped in the same magic, the Metropole offers you emotions involving all the senses. Eccentric, warm, eclectic, a place where the décor becomes an emotional experience, where each detail tells a story. A 5 star hotel that seduces and charms, a restaurant that surprises for its creative cuisine and the fame of its awards. Behind both of them, love, care and persistence. The resulting mood is incomparable. After all, here nothing happens by chance.

Great experience. Good staff and location. Rooms look a little dated and need an update. Tech is low. Need connectors and plugs for Phones and Laptops.

It is really a unique hotel which makes the guests as a part of the renaissance history. Amazing artcollections from folding fans, crucifixes, book stoppers and selective artificats as well as paintings. Each corner carries a touch from Vivaldi whom composed 4 seasons and Proust, Freud whom were regulars. The location itself is great as it is a little bit away from the chaos of the S. Marco - San Zaccaria ferryies and yet still very close to S. Marco in terms of walking distance. The entire staff were amazing as the comfort of the rooms. My only criticism if I have to would be, such a luxury hotel should provide nespresso machine ( or any other brand for the same putpose ) in all of the rooms rather than suites. Breakfast buffet was very satisfying. The Oriental bar & bistro is quite accomodating which carries the same elagant taste and makes you feel some exotic place in far east. Haven’t tried their spa but I am sure it was great.

My wife and I stayed here on our 3rd leg of our 25th anniversary tour of Italy 🇮🇹 What a beautiful hotel! The staff is wonderful, our room (403) was the rooftop with terrace overlooking the lagoon....incredible views and we spent every night enjoying drinks on the terrace watching the boats, people and sunsets. Truly spectacular!! The Orientalbar & Bistrot had incredible food and the bartenders made quite the speciality drinks. They have a private receiving dock for water taxis and are only a 5-10 minute walk away from SM square. However, I recommend you take the alleyway in between the hotel and nextdoor church to escape into a special area of Venice. We really enjoyed exploring the back canals of Venice and escaping the madhouse of tourists along the main walkways. They also have a complimentary water taxi to Murano as well (to see the glass makers). The history of this unique place is fascinating and I recommend you take the stairs to each floor to see multiple priceless displays. The entire staff (too many to name) made us feel like royalty during our visit - I would like to think it was just for us - but, something tells me every guest is treated this way!! We will return one day to Venice and this hotel will for sure be on the itinerary!

Fabulous Hotel in a great location. From the moment we arrived, we received 5 star treatment. Our room was so comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. The staff are excellent and concierge helped us so much with navigating our way around the fabulous city. We would not stay anywhere else in Venice, if we were lucky enough to return.

The Hotel is located on the canal and is short distance walk to to Piazza San Marco with the Saint Mark's Basilica and Dodge Palace as well as small shops and many restaurants. The staff at the hotel are charming and extremely helpful especially the front desk that arranged a walking a boat tour for us. We recommend the hotel highly. C Whitehead Washington DC
