Venice, a captivating city which strikes the eye and moves the heart. Enveloped in the same magic, the Metropole offers you emotions involving all the senses. Eccentric, warm, eclectic, a place where the décor becomes an emotional experience, where each detail tells a story. A 5 star hotel that seduces and charms, a restaurant that surprises for its creative cuisine and the fame of its awards. Behind both of them, love, care and persistence. The resulting mood is incomparable. After all, here nothing happens by chance.

Outstanding boutique hotel in the heart of Venice with grand view of the canal. Giuliano Brogliato their concierge was amazing in helping book tours, restaurants, etc. Recommend the boat tour he arranged for us with a nice bottle of wine, highlight of our time in Venice. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. Beautiful garden area to enjoy breakfast and lunch. Fun bar and we loved looking at all of the antique collections. Just stay here!

When you intend to come at a high standard hotel you are expecting to be pampered or at least have a more than an average experience. We truly were disappointed at every level. The staff was not really welcoming, we even witnessed an altercation between an elderly client and the staff the second we entered the hotel. Wifi connection was poor. The breakfast was not up to the standard with no fish, poor quality cold cuts, with only 2 kind of average cheese, and even a hair noticed in scrambled eggs. What's left from the hotel is only a name.

From the minute we arrived, the staff were really helpful. We came in off a cruise ship so arrived at 10.30am. The reception staff were so accommodating and let us have our room very early. The room was a suite with a huge seating area, and large bathroom. Only thing I didnt like was climbing over the bath for the shower. The Bed was comfortable and room quiet at night when we closed the shutters. We liked the location just a short walk to St. Marks Square. Breakfast was nice in the courtyard, not a huge choice but enough to eat. We loved our stay here.

Really a mixed bag. The bad: Location is near the water front where the taxies and embarkment point for cruise ship people for St. Marco. Very noisy and overrun until later at night. Close to St Marco Square Noise: They blast bad, annoying music in the hallways until early evening Room: Full of weird stuff that makes usable area small. Shower is weird and floods small bathroom area. Food: Was underwhelmed. Bed: Hard with a dip in the middle. The good: Service was responsive and polite. Common rooms nicely done. We would not stay here again.
