We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel for 3 nights in May 2026, during a 14 day Italy trip planned and booked by Chris from Destination Masters in Garden Grove, CA. We were met by hotel staff in their beautiful lobby. Amazing chandeliers and classic Venetian decor. The man who checked us in was “indifferent” to our party however did his job. We were assigned a “lagoon view” room, even though we booked a “canal” view. Not sure why or if this was an upgrade or lateral room category. To get to our room, we had to walk through a beautiful garden area with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Our room did overlook the Venetian Lagoon and the location was very quiet. These rooms had a common patio area with comfortable chairs, a sofa and tables to enjoy while looking out towards the lagoon. The room itself was a mixture of modern and old school Venetian workmanship. The room was very comfortable. The only drawback was that it was on the second floor, which required walking up a flight of stairs, and then 4 more steps upon entry to get to the main living area. Also, to enter the bathroom required stepping down 2 steps, not the best when it is dark or if you have mobility issues. The coolest thing about staying in the lagoon rooms is that it has a private boat dock just steps away. On a tour to Murano and Burano, the boat operator picked us up from the canal at the front of the hotel and returned us to the private dock next to our room. It was as if we were “rich and famous”, LOL. The in room coffee maker was fantastic and we made use if it every morning. The daily housekeeping of our room was spot on. The breakfast at this hotel was top shelf with many hot entrees, great fresh fruit selections, cereals, yogurt, pastries along with an attentive service staff. With the exception of the man who checked us in, the entire staff did a wonderful job to ensure we had a wonderful stay. For all of these reasons, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing a first class experience

We had to arrive in Venice 2 days late, due to air travel issues. Without asking the manager refunded part of our prepaid room, not only was I thankful but suprised he did it without us having to ask. The hotel rooms are clean, spacious, and unique. The setting is in the area where actual Venetians live so the one evening we had, it felt like we had the city to ourselves.

This is a classy hotel, with beautiful interiors and a stunningly lovely garden. We enjoyed wandering through and down every evening to the jetty to watch the sunset. Also lovely to hear a Scops owl which must have been in one of the trees. Staff were unfailingly friendly, polite and helpful. Our relatively early home flight meant checkout before breakfast, and as promised we were given a wonderful breakfast “box” to take away with us. The location is great, just a 3 minute walk from the Alilaguna airport transfer stop (Orange line). For evenings there are lots of nice restaurants within 5 minutes walk. You’re away from the noise of overcrowded tourist areas, but can easily walk to San Marco, the Accademia etc within half an hour. If you’re feeling tired after a couple of days, we recommend taking the hotel’s shuttle service to San Marco.

A beautiful hotel between two canals. The room was immaculately clean and beautifully furnished; also, blissfully quiet. The wakeup call came exactly as promised -- via knocks on the door, not a telephone call! The lobby is a feast for the eyes, and has much more comfortable seating than is typical of most hotel lobbies -- hence very suitable for a pre-cruise touring group. The included breakfast is a sumptuous feast.
