Amazing stay at a wonderful hotel
The hotel is located in a quiter part of Venice, so it may be a wonderful choice for families with children. Though, it is not far from the main sights. We had the chance to stay at the breathtaking Presidental Suite with amazing view. Kind, helpful and friendly staff. After exploring the city we could enjoy the enchanting, peaceful garden.

Excellent grand hotel in a perfect location
This is a super elegant, classic old world style hotel with beautiful grounds and superb service. The hotel staff helped us in every way. Food was superb and the location is great in a relatively quiet part of the city, but easily accessible by water.

Beautiful, Charming Location & Building
I picked this hotel for the beautiful historical building and quiet, highly desirable location. If you’ve been to Venice before, you know that it suffers from overtourism in areas around the grand canal or St. Mark’s basilica. This NH is in the lovely Cannaregio neighborhood, which has a peaceful and tranquil vibe. The hotel and its garden (the largest in Venice) is beautiful and well kept. The rooms accommodate their historical building and are not opulent, but are sufficient considering the context. Staff are all friendly and they made a note to bring a special dessert for celebrating an occasion, but there are some misses on service follow-through. I did not get housekeeping between 8:20am and 2:40pm, which is when I was out the room and in town. It’s unusual for NH properties not to be more diligent about servicing around the guests. And, on the day of departure, the hotel did not confirm a water taxi to be ready when we needed them by. While frustrating lapses in some service, the location and the beautiful setting still earn this property 5 stars. I think the rooms were under $800/night each, which delivers strong value for a 5-star hotel in Venice.
