NH Collection Venezia Grand Hotel Palazzo dei Dogi

I absolutely loved my stay! The hotel is tucked away in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood, away from the crowds and chaos of tourism. It gave me the chance to slow down, feel at peace, and truly experience the magic of authentic Venice. A special thank you to Viorica in the restaurant and bar. She is fantastic—efficient, and completely on top of everything. She made the experience even more memorable. I would happily return!

The Palazzo is beautiful. The rooms are beautiful and the common space is stunning. You feel like you are staying at the Doge's palazzo. The garden is serene and just walking to the lagoon is peaceful. It is also in a wonderful neighborhood. It is a neighborhood with Veniian residents. It is a joy to walk the canals around the hotel and enjoy the ambiance. All the sights, like St Mark's are an easy walk. The staff is wonderful and so helpful. They helped us with getting from a cruise port to the hotel on short notice and with the return to the airport. Where else can you take a 20 minute water taxi to the airport. We will be back for another stay. All the sights

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Front of the hotel is accessed by a canal. The hotel has a beautiful garden and great views from the back out towards Murano. They will do several free trips today to the glass factories in Murano. We had a beautiful two level hotel room. Beds are very comfortable. Air-conditioning and shower were fabulous. The morning breakfast buffet was very good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Not right in the heart of the tourist district but a short walk from there. Nice and quiet at night. It was €160 to get a water taxi to the airport. This was arranged by the hotel. I will stay here again.

Had a lovely trip to Venice and this Hotel was superb. Can recommend it will make you happy to visit here. 10/10

This hotel was nice but The service was not really up to par. The breakfast was very expensive For what they served. We were never approached to let us know that we could order off the menu. We were pretty much ignored. Also at the check-in I specifically requested if we could pay the water taxi the €160 for the trip to the driver by credit card. The hotel person effusively assured me that we could pay by card. Well, unfortunately, that was not true. The water taxi driver sent me to the ATM at the Venice airport to get the cash. Unfortunately, my credit card doesn’t have a pin set up. So I was not able to get money from the ATM. So we ended up cobbling together US dollars in euros, and after we did all the calculations we determined that we overpaid the driver more than €20 for the trip.
