Luxury Hotel & Amazing Staff

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

I was travelling solo in Venice and stopping over before catching a train to Udine and decided to treat myself to a luxury hotel. The staff were honestly amazing, I was upgraded to a suite without even asking and the whole experience was premium from start to finish, I would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you to all staff there on the front desk and bar, I was made to feel very special even when travelling solo, I hope to return with my partner.

excellent location, always clean and fresh, rooms very updated, bathrooms modern, service extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast option of eating in the garden or near the old gondola is definitely a nice vibe. would totally come back when in venice again.

Terrible management

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon and had booked a Junior Suite with a king-size bed. However, upon arrival, we were allocated a suite with two single beds. This was deeply disappointing, especially given the occasion, and the room assignment did not match the description provided on Booking.com which we believe to be misleading. I addressed this issue by writing to the General Manager directly, but rather than receiving a personal response, the matter was delegated to the front office team, citing that the GM was unavailable. Their reply indicated that twin beds are standard in most European hotels an explanation that, while noted, does not justify the discrepancy between what was advertised and what was provided.

Great silver wedding anniversary stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

This is a great hotel on the outskirts from central Venice, but very walkable or even shorter via the waterways. Upon arrival Sara did a very good job of explaining the hotel facilities, gave us a welcome drink and showed us to our room. There was a lovely welcome gift and card in the room acknowledging our 25th wedding anniversary and this was repeated on the actual day of our anniversary when inflatable balloons were also added, a lovely touch by the hotel and most appreciated. The room was spotlessly clean and a good size. Breakfast was a lovely buffet with plenty of choice and you even get to select one item each from the a la carte menu. The area itself if really nice, not overcrowded and we found some great bar and restaurants with a 10 min walk. The hotel recommended a lovely restaurant just a 6 mins walk behind the hotel, for our anniversary meal and the hotel staff are all so friendly and helpful. The only negative I have is that the sidewalk in front of the hotel was being replaced and we were one floor above this. Had we known in advance then we would not have booked a canal view room as the workmen were far from quiet. Would I stay at this hotel again, yes 100%. We had a lovely time
