The location is pleasantly off the beaten track, which was a real plus for me. We received a warm welcome from the front desk, and the supporting staff with our luggage. However, the food and beverage service at breakfast fell far short of expectations. Upon entering the breakfast room, guests are ignored—you have to greet the staff before they acknowledge you. After providing my room number, I was asked how they could help me, which seemed unnecessary given that I had just arrived for breakfast. It is not a buffet at a five-star standard, and the service is really lacking. Whatever you ask for, staff simply point to where you might find it rather than assisting directly. For example, when I requested sparkling water, instead of bringing it to my table, they returned to tell me they had placed a new bottle on the buffet. I also noticed a clear difference in service—my male partner received more attention and better treatment throughout breakfast. Because of this, I would not choose to return here as a woman traveling alone.

So happy we opted for this hotel in the Cannaregio area on the canal. The hotel was across from the Valporetta station which was convenient to getting around Venice. Our room was spacious and overlooked the canal but was not noisy. Bathroom was modern and nice. There was some construction on the walkways around the hotel but this is happening all over Venice as they make some adjustments to the walkway height. The hotel was pristine - breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

This was a wonderful starting point for our trip. After a very long day of travel, stepping into this quiet, and lovely hotel was a dream. It is not at all what one would think of when they see Radisson. It is an old villa with lots of charm but modern at the same time. The air conditioning was much appreciated as was the Prosecco at check in. We reserved a jr suite with the most lovely ceiling fresco. Our windows overlooked the back courtyard with trees. It was very quiet and a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the streets and canals and crowds of Venice. The breakfast has a number of offerings that were included and for a small price you could order a larger meal. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful and while it is a bit away from the main attractions, it was very easy to get to from the airport as the water bus stops right in front of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for those who love charm and character with modern amenities and professional and kind staff.

I can not speak more highly about this hotel, it is absolutely stunning, such a treat to stay here! Service was excellent, including the lovely breakfasts. When I was booking I was concerned the location was too far away from the “sites” however location was excellent. Walkable from the train station, absolutely walkable to all the sites, and if you don’t feel like walking there is a ferry and water taxi spot right outside the door. It was actually really nice to be slightly away from all swarms of tourists, but close enough to wander around anywhere. Loved our stay and will definitely stay again.

Great hotel in a perfect location if you want to stay in a quieter area of Venice but still close enough to everything. Rooms are well kept and modern. All amenities you expect from this level of price. Bkf great and staff very polite and attentive. I will definitely return if going to Venice again
