Nice hotel in an excellent location. Check in was a breeze even at 1am as our flight was really delayed getting into Veracruz, reception employee was very helpful in securing a fantastic room on the 8th floor. Room was well appointed for a relaxing stay, though the evaporator coil inside the room leaked condensate water onto the tile floor, but placing a towel on the tiles was enough to catch the dripping water. Shower head could do with replacing, could not adjust the angel of the shower head, also the shower door would not close all the way shut. These were little faults that did not advert us from having a comfortable stay. All employees greeted us with smiles and always asked if there was anything they could do for us. Nice touch. I would not have any hesitation in staying here again the next time I visit Veracruz.

This hotel is old, dated, and in serious need of repairs. The location is central and the staff are genuinely friendly. The food ranges from awful to mediocre and the bartender can’t make a decent drink to save her life! Our first room’s bathtub faucet fell out of the wall when we used it. We advised the front desk and the sent up maintenance who just shoved it back into the wall. The pics are from after the visit from maintenance. Our next room had no tub, but smelled of raw sewage. We had to leave the bathroom light/fan on 24/7 to abate the smell. I can’t recommend this place and suggest you find somewhere else to stay.

This hotel is completely impossible to reach. Attempting to reach the front desk takes you through a call tree that requires you listen to a 61 second privacy disclaimer. Then they say they are transferring you and your cut off. It is impossible to reach my family at the hotel which makes this an unsafe hotel for guests. One is left to wonder if the property is even still open.

The hotel is located in a great location, close to restaurants and the market. The hotel room is a little tired and in need of a refresh. The shower head barely trickled water on the hair. The breakfast buffet was heavily slant toward Mexican food. They probably had about 8 entres. Very few traditional breakfast items were available. They had hard boiled eggs, pastries, some fruit, ham, cheeses, bread and juices. It was very basic. I noticed a security guard at the entrance in the morning and evening.

Hotel needs updating. Very nice common area but furniture looking tired. Looked like black mold on the ceiling in the common area. No furniture on the balcony - nothing to sit on. Staff enjoys each others company and sometimes not attentive to customers. Check in staff very helpful. We left after 2 days because there was construction by the pool and sandblasting the walls so very noisy. The rooftop pool was closed due to construction. I wouldn’t return even if there was no construction. Air conditioning was very quiet. Ice machines on each floor but none work - have to go to the bar for ice. All the staff are very pleasant. Not touristy so very little to none English spoken.
