Versilia Lido by UNA Esperienze

We had a fantastic stay at Versilia Lido UNA Esperienze and would happily give it the maximum rating. Although it is officially a four-star hotel, to us it really felt like a five-star experience. The positive impression already starts when you arrive. The entrance is beautiful and impressive, with a lovely driveway and convenient parking, including charging facilities for electric cars. The staff at reception were extremely friendly, helpful and took the time to explain everything clearly. As an unexpected bonus, we were upgraded to a one-bedroom apartment with a large balcony, which was absolutely wonderful. The apartment had everything we could possibly need: a well-equipped kitchenette with a fridge, oven and dishwasher, as well as a washer-dryer. The bathroom was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, and everything felt spacious, clean and well thought out. We honestly had nothing to complain about. Breakfast was also excellent. There was a very wide selection, with plenty of choices including yoghurt, different types of muesli and many other options. Fresh juices were prepared on the spot, and you could also order a freshly made cappuccino. A great way to start the day. The outdoor pool area was another highlight. The pool is large enough to properly swim laps, with plenty of comfortable sunbeds and parasols around it, as well as lots of extra space on the grass. We never had any trouble finding somewhere to relax, and towels were readily available. The hotel also offers free bicycle rental and padel. We did not use the bikes, but we did play padel for an hour, which was great fun. Rackets and everything else you need are provided. We also really enjoyed the spa. There is a lovely heated indoor pool with whirlpools, a spacious dry sauna at around 80–85°C, and a good-sized Turkish steam bath. There are showers and ice available for cooling down afterwards. I also had a massage during our stay, which was very relaxing and enjoyable. You can also eat at the hotel. We had lunch there once, which was perfectly fine. If I had to mention one thing that stood out a little less compared with the rest of our stay, it would probably be the food at lunch. It was good, but not particularly memorable. The rooftop terrace, however, is beautiful. You can also have dinner there, although we preferred going for an evening walk and only stopped by for drinks. The service there was excellent as well. By signing up for the hotel programme, we received a complimentary welcome drink, so we enjoyed a lovely cocktail on the rooftop terrace in the evening. The surrounding area is pleasant too, with a boulevard offering shops and restaurants. You are not walking directly along the beach there, but there is still plenty to see and do. In fact, we spent most of our time enjoying the hotel itself rather than going to the beach. Overall, this was an absolutely fantastic stay. The combination of the beautiful accommodation, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, swimming pools, spa, padel facilities and rooftop terrace made it feel very complete. For us, Uno Lido Experience fully deserves the maximum rating and we would definitely recommend it.

The hotel itself is expansive, with extensive indoor and outdoor facilities including pools, gardens, and park areas that create an appealing sense of space. The reception area is large and efficient, while the multiple elevators servicing different wings mean you rarely waste precious vacation time standing around like luggage. Check-in was fast, friendly, and professionally handled. Rooms are spacious, with generous bathrooms, quality toiletries, and thoughtful design touches such as the transparent desk, which enhances the sense of openness. The sea-view terrace is a particularly appreciated feature. However, some elements betray the hotel’s age: lamps could use replacing, bathroom refurbishment would be beneficial despite the charmingly distinctive pink sink, and an unreliable toilet flush is hardly ideal. A broader cosmetic refresh, including updated paintwork, would elevate the overall experience considerably. Pet owners will appreciate the dog-friendly policy and dedicated breakfast area, though some pet amenities would improve the experience. Breakfast is abundant and varied, with the expected sweet and savory options, though nothing particularly memorable stands out. It satisfies rather than delights. The spa facilities are a notable strength. The indoor pool and spa area are enjoyable, and my back massage was excellent. Still, the indoor pool could be larger. During poor weather it can quickly fill with noisy children and lose much of its relaxing appeal. Housing the gym in the same warm pool area is also less than ideal, creating an uncomfortable exercise environment. Staff throughout the property were consistently excellent: friendly, efficient, and professional, a major asset. Parking appears sufficient during quieter months. One genuinely baffling flaw is the hotel signage itself, which is too discreetly placed and nearly obscured by vegetation, making arrival unnecessarily more difficult than it should be. Overall, UNA Hotel Versilia offers substantial comfort, excellent service, and strong facilities. With some refurbishment and sharper attention to detail, it could move from very good to genuinely exceptional.

This is a very nice hotel very clean with spa with indoor and outdoor pool. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff at the breakfast is really amazing ❤️. All of them are really welcoming smilling and efficient. It was a pleasure.

We stayed as a family at this Hotel and we were lucky to have great weather. The Hotel staff were very helpful, very friendly and polite. The hotel was clean and the rooms were very spacious. We made the most of the outdoor pool and indoor spa that were amazing . The hotel was situated close to the beach and we were fortunate enough that it wasn’t summer season and busy. Would highly recommend.

Lovely Easter stay for 8 nights. The large rooms are perfect for families. Breakfast was perfect with plenty of choice. Whilst reception was sometimes busy the staff were always helpful. Great location with the added bonus of free bikes to hire. We would definitely return.
