Room was spacious and comfortable, however furnishings are very outdated and even a bit run-down (peeling wall paper, damaged doors with chipped paint). While those points did not detract from the comfort of our stay, considering the price of the room, I expect the upkeep of the hotel to be significantly better. In addition, there is no complimentary breakfast, which again for the price of the room, is surprising. The location of the hotel is of course wonderful, with incredible views of the lake, and clearly this is what is driving the price. But moving just a short distance down the road into La Tour, you can find equivalent accommodations (in better condition) with included breakfast and parking, at a fraction of the price.

Our stay at Hôtel des Trois Couronnes was absolutely perfect. Everything met – or exceeded – our expectations. The service was excellent: attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. The friendliness of the entire staff made a big difference and contributed greatly to the overall experience. Our room was, in my opinion, truly unique – beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and offering an outstanding view. The location of the hotel complemented everything perfectly: peaceful yet central, with breathtaking scenery all around. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. If you value quality, comfort, and top-notch service, this is the place to stay.

Everything was perfect, from the warm welcome at reception-where I was introduced to the hotel and its services-to the entire staff, who were extremely kind and always prompt whenever we requested room service. The room had everything I needed and was in the best location possible. The bar and spa areas were absolutely incredible, with perfectly crafted drinks created by their own team. I will definitely be returning!

We had a really nice stay in Vevey thanks to our experience here. I will preface to say, that like other reviews, the hotel is somewhat “dated” and while some would see this as adding to the charm of the experience, we do prefer more update accommodations. Normally I give overall rating based on all factors which would lead to less than 5 stars because of this aspect but the experience otherwise was very nice and don’t want to dock the property based on the building and their choice to honor the historical feel. I think the price when compared to the more modern/updated places is appropriately adjusted for so as long as you know what to expect, it is no problem. It was clean (which is very important to us) and our experience was exceptional service, especially compared to comparable stays in Montreux and because of that, would definitely look forward to staying here again. The location is convenient - but it is about an 8-10 min walk (some cobblestone) from train station with luggage… if you have a lot of luggage, or your luggage isn’t sturdy, recommend a taxi (15-20 CHF). The couple days I noticed a little musty smell in common areas but the next day they had fire in the fireplace which made everything smell cozy and nice. The room did not have the same musty smell as I smelled in the common area. The breakfast had many choices, was very good and had something for everyone- they even had meringues and Gruyère double cream! Their bread and pastries came from a nearby Michelin restaurant, baked fresh each day. They had hot made-to-order menu options included for no extra charge. As a LHW member, we did not get an upgrade on the room but we already had lakefront which was beautiful- no complaints. If I remember right, the toiletries are Molton Brown. The bed which felt very firm initially ended up providing excellent support and comfort and great nights sleep. If you love chocolate, I also recommend ordering a chocolate mousse cake from them. Superb! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Sleep quality was poor because of the noise from slamming doors, walking in the room (or hallway) above, toilets flushing, and the outside heavy shutters slamming against the window. The floors are really creaky and the doors are the opposite of soft close. Another sleep issue is the heat. We were told there’s no way other than turning off the radiators to get the heat down. Even so, it remained 73F/23C. This it nor for sleep with the heavy bed comforters they provide. The hotel desperately needs an upgrade. It’s been about 25 years. For example, the shower has one of those heads that moves up and down a pole and not a rain shower. Also the water fluctuated so you had to be careful not to get scorched.
