Hotel Plaza e de Russie

Wonderful experience!!! This hotel is a gem, quite luxury, excellent location to visit so many spots in Tuscany and beyond, ie 5 Terre, Portofino and so on. We stayed one week and the staff went above and beyond to meet all our needs. Everyone was fantastic, the rooms are modern with wonderful bathrooms, linens, toiletries and fridges fully stocked. The breakfast was very curated with locally sourced products and great flavorful choices. The Hotel restaurant is also wonderful and a must try! Every detail met our expectations! Thank you 🙏🏻 to the lovely hotel manager Signora Silvia, to Martina, Stefano, Michael and everyone else that took such great care of us! We will definitely be back!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Plaza e de Russie. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly attentive, welcoming and professional, making us feel very well looked after throughout our visit. The restaurant was excellent on both nights we ate there, with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast was equally impressive — plentiful, fresh and with a fantastic choice of options to suit every taste. Our room was immaculate, comfortable and incredibly relaxing. We were fortunate enough to have a room with a balcony, and with the beautiful weather during our stay, it was the perfect place to sit and enjoy the surroundings. The location really couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Viareggio and perfectly placed for enjoying everything the town has to offer. Overall, the hotel completely lived up to its reputation and, more importantly, exceeded our expectations. A beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, excellent food and a genuinely memorable stay. We would happily return and highly recommend Hotel Plaza e de Russie.

An absolutely wonderful hotel. The reception staff are so helpful and friendly. The breakfast room staff are just there, quietly serving anything you would like. Our upgrade to a suite was such a lovely surprise. We cannot thank you all enough.

We stayed at this wonderful hotel for 3 nights, touring the local cities. I have to say, in all my years of travelling around Europe, have I ever witnessed the exceptional levels of service FROM EVERY MEMBER OF THE HOTEL TEAM. From the moment we arrived, the concierge took care of our luggage, the check in team were welcoming and arranged our rooms quickly and the housekeeping team were exceptional. At breakfast the team could not do enough for you. How does this orchestra come together? Of course it’s down to the conductor or in this case the hotel manager Silvia who was not only visible most of the time but also assisting guests. This way she is not only the heartbeat of the hotel but also the ears and eyes on what is happening. This cascades down the hierarchy but also a key part is the way Sylvia recruits. Our heartfelt thanks to Stefano at the front desk - a hotel manager in the making, Michael, Martina, Daria, Eleonora from the front desk. Asia, Claudia, Roberta, Arianna and Girolaro at breakfast plus many more that I did not get a chance to remember their names. I started with people first but the hotel itself has been recently renovated and the rooms are perfect - not the biggest and not the smallest but very comfortable. It would be nice to have tea / coffee facilities in the room and an iron but these were brought up promptly as and when needed. Breakfast was plentiful and of good quality and compromised of hot and cold items. There is also a Michelin restaurant on site. Outside the hotel the beach is a few minutes walk with plenty of restaurants and boutiques and many ice cream parlours!! Highly recommend a May break as I suspect it gets very busy between June - September Look fires dvti coming back.
