Not good value. Room/bathroom is small. Bathroom was nicely renovated but room was dated. No self-parking option, only $40 valet. No swimming pool. Very central location was nice for walking everywhere. Courtney Room was overrated, $130 for small portions and an undercooked burger.

A wonderful little boutique hotel near the harbour and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, historic sites and charming neighbourhoods. We have come to know Michael (Mike) as we have stayed at The Magnolia yearly. He is friendly, kind and professional. Alfonso at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, we did not capture everyone's name but we found that the entire hotel staff displayed strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service. Thank you to everyone.

Nothing particularly wrong with this hotel, but nothing spectacular either. The rooms are comfortable with Dyson (!) hairdryer, which for someone with long think hair is a special. However, you were able to hear every noise from the street. Beds were very comfy. We stayed one night and did not try the spa.

The hidden gem in Victoria; excellent, personal service. The food is absolutely amazing; creative and delicious. Skip the big brands and experience the Magnolia difference. It's right downtown near the waterfront and all the great shopping etc!

The hotel is well located in Victoria, close to the Parliament, Harbour, Museum and Shopping areas. Our room was clean and well lit (appreciated when so many hotel rooms are lit like caves). Bed was comfortable. The room had great view towards Parliament and on 6h floor was well above traffic noise. The bathroom was a good size, had good counter space and a bath and shower. All were kept very clean. We dined in the Courtney Room, which was a lovely experience - good food and excellent service.
