I've stayed at the Magnolia for work and pleasure numerous times - it never disappoints. Highly recommend this hotel.

We have tried many hotels in Victoria over the years, and somehow they always seemed to come up short. Some felt impersonal, others had heating issues that left us uncomfortably warm at night. We have stayed in places that were stuffy, overly simple, or expensive without delivering the experience one would expect — in short, the full gamut. In the end, we settled on The Magnolia Hotel & Spa. It offers that rare combination of excellent rooms, thoughtful amenities, an unbeatable location, and consistently good food. While it sits on the higher end of the price spectrum, for us it is absolutely worth it.

My husband and I live in Greater Victoria. We planned a Staycation at the Magnolia Hotel and we were delighted with the entire experience. We were greeted at the front desk with smiles and lovely conversation. The front lobby and seating area is picture-perfect. The hotel is equipped with a beautiful lobby water faucet for refilling water bottles. Our room and view was exquisite. The bed (and couch) were very comfortable. The room amenities are extra-special, with L'Occitane en Provence toiletries, a Dyson hair dryer and a clothing steamer. We loved the cookies they left for us. Dining at the Courtney Room is pure pleasure. Delicious food. Attentive and knowledgeable servers and excellent wine. I highly recommend staying at the Magnolia Hotel.
