Anantara Stanley and Livingstone Victoria Falls Hotel

My daughter and I just stayed at Anantara Stanley & Livingstone Victoria Falls. I highly recommend staying here. Before we arrived I emailed the lodge and Prudence, Natasha and Brian were all so helpful with any questions and setting up our activities and transport before we arrived. From the moment we arrived until we left, everyone was so friendly, helpful and wonderful. The resort is beautiful, rooms are lovely and comfortable, restaurant is excellent! Every meal we had was delicious. Surpsie was our waiter ,you couldn’t ask for anyone better. He brought things for us to try that we had never heard of. Sikhulu was amazing and the best guide! We did 8 days in 4 countries, we had four guides, while all were good, he was exceptional! We had amazing encounters with the animals and so much fun with him. He is very conscientious about what is best for the animals like we are. The guided tour of Victoria Falls shouldn’t be missed either. I would like to thank each person who we met because they all made us feel so welcome and should all get great reviews. Unfortunately I lost the paper with their names spelled correctly, my apologies for that. Please know we appreciated and enjoyed visiting with each of you. We plan to go back with other family members and stay longer. If you are looking at this area, choose A S& L, it’s the best place to stay, I believe you will love it as much as we did.

Fantastic experience. Food was wonderful. Staff was accommodating, professional and friendly. All of the excursions planned by the staff were top notch and enjoyable. We will most definitely return soon.

The decor is beautiful and all staff is so helpful and friendly. A truly wonderful experience.

Excellent hotel. Very supportive and extremely polite staff who go an extra mile to make your stay a memorable one. Our porter Cosmos and restaurant waiter Surprise to name a few of the staff members. All in all a lovely experience.

This was an exceptional stay! It startet with a well organized transfer from the airport and a very warm welcome with singing, drinks and a little massage at check in. The property is beautiful and well maintained, the reserve view makes it possible to watch the wildlife from your big suites and beautiful terraces. We were lucky to receive the last suite with a new pool and lots of privacy. They even built a ramp for my husbands wheelchair to enter the room on the first day. The whole staff is extraordinary! They are ALL very kind, friendly, open minded, helpful and professional. There is always time for a nice chat, to ask questions and laugh together. The restaurant is fantastic, the dishes are regional and wonderful. I can highly recommend the game drives in this private reserve and their bush dinners. Activities are well organized and guided. We had a wonderful stay. We can’t thank them all enough for their service. We had a memorable time that will stay in our memories.
