We have arrived a few hours ago but from the second we walked in could already tell this is a superb hotel. The building is fabulous, and the service so far from the concierge (who emailed before we arrived to arrange things for us), the check in staff and the porter has been simply flawless. The room itself is perfect, tasteful and modern with comfy beds, luxuriously crisp linens and towels, plenty of closet space and all seamlessly arranged to ensure the utmost comfort. It is just beautiful and calm and housepeeking have thought of absolutely everything in terms of room amenities. Additionally the welcome treats, the Edmund de Waal book, the chocolates, pillow spray, snacks and drinks, everything has been extraordinarily thoughtful. This is an outstanding experience, even by 5 star hotel standards. Cannot recommend it enough!

From our very first inquiry, the hospitality was flawless—the guest relations team was wonderfully responsive and helped us resolve all our pre-arrival queries promptly. The Room & Service Upon learning we were celebrating a special occasion, the hotel generously upgraded our room. Walking in to find personalized surprises and thoughtful anniversary decorations set the tone for an incredible stay. The room itself was stunning, but the housekeeping team truly elevated the experience. Every time we stepped out, we returned to a flawlessly tidied space. Their attention to detail was top-tier—drawing the curtains before evening while we were out, and even elegantly coiling our charging cables. Amenities & Dining Every facility across the property operates at the absolute highest standard. We treated ourselves to a session at the spa, which offered exceptionally relaxing treatments that were fantastic value for money. Dining was equally impressive. The food and drinks were top-notch, and the bar staff were consistently warm, professional, and ready with fantastic recommendations tailored to our tastes. The Verdict What truly sets this property apart is its people. Every single staff member we encountered was professional, friendly, and eager to help. They made us feel celebrated from start to finish. If you are visiting Vienna for a special occasion, look no further—we cannot wait to return!

An absolute masterclass in luxury hospitality. From the moment I arrived at the Anantara Palais Hansen Vienna, the experience was nothing short of perfection—stunning architecture, an ideal location on the Ringstraße, and an extraordinary level of refined comfort. What truly sets this hotel apart is its world-class team. The service throughout my stay was impeccable, with special recognition deserved for Bence and Milan in door and bell services. Their warmth, efficiency, and seamless assistance set a wonderful tone every time I walked through the doors. The front desk, concierge team, and rooming staff were equally fabulous, handling every request with effortless professionalism. The accommodations are exceptionally comfortable, but the bathroom deserves a special mention: the luxurious rain shower with heated floors was an absolute highlight after a day of exploring the city. Wrapping up my final night with room service in the comfort of my room was the perfect ending—the meal was fresh, fast, and phenomenal. I cannot recommend Anantara Palais Hansen highly enough and look forward to returning on my next visit to Vienna.

We stayed at Anantara Palais Hansen Vienna for our anniversary trip and had a truly exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautiful, luxurious and immaculate. Our room was excellent, breakfast was superb and we really liked the location. It was peaceful and away from the busiest tourist areas, but still very easy to get around Vienna. What really made the stay special, however, was the staff and level of service. The gentleman on the concierge desk was absolutely brilliant. I could simply tell him what type of food or experience we were looking for and he would recommend a few excellent options, help arrange everything and even have our limousine ready for us. Nothing seemed too much trouble. He made our time in Vienna incredibly easy and allowed us to simply enjoy ourselves rather than worrying about organising things. I also have to mention the gentleman and lady working at the bar in the evenings. They were exceptional. They always made sure our drinks were taken care of, but it was the small personal touches that impressed us most. Every so often they would stop for a few minutes to have a conversation with us and check that we were enjoying ourselves. It never felt forced or intrusive – just genuine hospitality. We visited several other five-star hotels, restaurants and bars during our time in Vienna, which made us appreciate even more how good the service at Anantara was. Before the trip we considered several of Vienna's leading luxury hotels. Having now stayed at Anantara Palais Hansen, we are extremely happy we chose it. Beautiful property, excellent facilities and, most importantly, outstanding people. Would we stay again? Absolutely, without hesitation. Anantara Palais Hansen will be our first choice when we return to Vienna. Thank you to the entire team for helping make our anniversary trip so memorable.

Just had an excellent hotel stay in this luxury hotel. Situated within walking distance from public transport. Even walking is possible because you find all the attractions in 1-2 km range. Service at the hotel is outstanding. One of the best breakfast I have ever had. Staff is very friendly and professional. They will do anything to meet your expectations. Will highly recommend this for couples, families and especially if you have a birthday, wedding day or similar - they will make it unforgettable.
