Anantara Palais Hansen Vienna

We stayed at Anantara Palais Hansen Vienna for our anniversary trip and had a truly exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautiful, luxurious and immaculate. Our room was excellent, breakfast was superb and we really liked the location. It was peaceful and away from the busiest tourist areas, but still very easy to get around Vienna. What really made the stay special, however, was the staff and level of service. The gentleman on the concierge desk was absolutely brilliant. I could simply tell him what type of food or experience we were looking for and he would recommend a few excellent options, help arrange everything and even have our limousine ready for us. Nothing seemed too much trouble. He made our time in Vienna incredibly easy and allowed us to simply enjoy ourselves rather than worrying about organising things. I also have to mention the gentleman and lady working at the bar in the evenings. They were exceptional. They always made sure our drinks were taken care of, but it was the small personal touches that impressed us most. Every so often they would stop for a few minutes to have a conversation with us and check that we were enjoying ourselves. It never felt forced or intrusive – just genuine hospitality. We visited several other five-star hotels, restaurants and bars during our time in Vienna, which made us appreciate even more how good the service at Anantara was. Before the trip we considered several of Vienna's leading luxury hotels. Having now stayed at Anantara Palais Hansen, we are extremely happy we chose it. Beautiful property, excellent facilities and, most importantly, outstanding people. Would we stay again? Absolutely, without hesitation. Anantara Palais Hansen will be our first choice when we return to Vienna. Thank you to the entire team for helping make our anniversary trip so memorable.

Just had an excellent hotel stay in this luxury hotel. Situated within walking distance from public transport. Even walking is possible because you find all the attractions in 1-2 km range. Service at the hotel is outstanding. One of the best breakfast I have ever had. Staff is very friendly and professional. They will do anything to meet your expectations. Will highly recommend this for couples, families and especially if you have a birthday, wedding day or similar - they will make it unforgettable.

An extraordinary hotel. From the moment you walk in, you realise what true customer service really is. I’d particularly like to single out the housekeeping team, Dimitar – the extremely polite concierge who gave us brilliant advice every day on which restaurants to visit – and Lindsay, who works in the breakfast room and is incredibly efficient. Thank you very much for everything. It’s been a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back.

What impressed me most about our stay was the exceptional level of customer service provided by every member of the Anantara team. From the front desk and concierge to the door attendants and housekeeping staff, everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our experience truly memorable. To celebrate our anniversary, we were delighted to find a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a bottle of champagne, chocolates, and an assortment of thoughtful treats waiting in our room upon arrival. It was such a generous and unexpected gesture that made us feel genuinely valued and welcomed. Anantara offered a true sense of comfort, peace, and relaxation. The beautiful ambiance, thoughtful details, and elegance of our room created the feeling of a home away from home.
