The hotel is located in the center of commercial Vienna, overlooking the historic Ringstrasse and decorated with more than 1000 original art works. Close to some of Vienna’s biggest attractions, this Vienna hotel is the perfect base for exploring the Austrian capital. Marvel at the grandeur of Hofburg Palace, or contemplate the collection of art at the Kunsthistorisches Museum.

Splendid location and such incredibly friendly staff from every level. Breakfast buffet was delicious and fresh fruits were extraordinary. I especially appreciated the sweet lychees and dragon fruit. The DIY mimosa with fresh orange juice is a true delight. Their daily smoothie concoction was also on point. From front office to wait staff to housekeeping, we were greeted with smiles and helpful attitude. I emailed Concierge a few months ago to arrange airport pickup since our flight came in close to midnight. They helped me arrange a reliable SIXT service for a reasonable 80€. My emails were always addressed. Rooms were sparkling clean with daily 2 waters. I also love the much needed hydrating lotion. The mini market at the lobby was perfect to buy a sandwich and beer as late night snack. We were within walking distance to Am Hof, Freyung, Stephanplatz, Graben Street, and Rathausplatz Christmas Market. Many thanks to the wonderful gentleman at Emile who generously offered me a glass of champagne on Christmas Eve to take to my room when I mistakenly thought it was for hotel guests 🤣. Thank you all for contributing to my family’s amazing memory of our first trip to Vienna. Frohe Weihnachte!

First of all, our reservation was for a 2-beds room but they gave us a one bed room when we checked in.The tall skinny guy at the reception was not helpful and insisted that we settle in that one bed room. This was escalated to the managerial level and finally assigned us a room. It took them 2-3 hrs to have our room ready. There was no expressed apology. We stayed 2 nights and on the day of departure, we requested 2 cabs because Uber didn't show up. We immediately canceled the request because uber sent another car-- only to find out we would have to wait another 20 min. We made another request for 2 cabs so we won't miss our train but the same guy (tall skinny) at the reception desk refused to call since it would be "unprofessional"? Cancellations happen everytime. There's nothing unprofessional about it.it must be our skin color since we are not Caucasians. To make matter worse-- we missed our train.I never experienced anything like this as a Hilton member.

We are two nights into a nine-night stay at the Hilton Vienna Plaza and this is, without exaggeration, one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had — made even more offensive by the fact that, thanks to the exchange rate, this stay is costing AUD$8,000. First, a critical warning: they do NOT accept Visa Debit cards. If you’re travelling with a credit card that has a modest limit, forget charging anything to your room and paying the accommodation at the same time - I had to use 2 separate accounts; my visa debit savings account and then trf onto my credit card to allow anything to be charged to the room. No minibar, no bar tab, no convenience — and this is not clearly disclosed when booking. For an international “premium” hotel, this is ridiculous. Housekeeping? Non-existent. Our room was not cleaned at all. No servicing, no refresh, nothing. Again — completely unacceptable, particularly for a Hilton property charging luxury prices. The hotel temperature is locked at a constant 26°C, making the rooms uncomfortably hot. Want to cool down? Your only option is to open the balcony doors and be blasted by relentless, roaring traffic noise. Comfort or sleep — choose one. You don’t get both. The amenities (or lack thereof) are almost laughable: • No minibar • One towel per person • Pillows so catastrophically bad they completely flatten under the slightest weight. They provide zero support — I may as well be sleeping on my own arm. This hotel is trading entirely on the Hilton name while delivering a sub-standard, budget-level experience at a premium price. At $8,000 for nine nights, this isn’t just disappointing — it’s offensive. If you’re considering staying here, don’t. There are plenty of places in Vienna that understand comfort, service and value. This is not one of them.

Some staff exceptionally kind and helpful others quite rude and condescending. Restaurant staff at breakfast brought toys and was really kind and nice for baby. Unfortunately got delayed at check out (2 pm and left 2:47 due to toddler) fined 50 euros by unhelpful receptionist. Then requested use of lounge abruptly told can use till 4 pm and then must exit (paid extra to use during stay) which I have never experienced in any 4/5 star hotel.
