Reviews for Hilton Vienna Plaza

Excellent Stay in Vienna

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

This room was booked through AmEx The Hotel Collection: Everyone in my family loved our stay at the Hilton Vienna Plaza. The entire property is spotlessly clean. The room (Penthouse Family Suite) was large, comfortable and quiet at night. The balcony, which wrapped around the corner of the building, was a great place to relax and have a drink (even when it was a little chilly outside). The staff is five star excellent. Our room took some time to get ready beyond check-in time, but the staff was great at communicating the progress of its preparation. We were able to leave our bags in a safe place and swing by one of our favorite sausage stands down the block. We had Lounge access and I highly recommend it. There is a restaurant that offers breakfast, but the Lounge provides some basic breakfast items, soft drinks and light snacks throughout the day, with a happy hour later in the day with alcohol. We found the Lounge breakfast to be the best way to start our day. It provided just enough food to start the day (no filter coffee, but an espresso machine that was enough to make an Americano on). Location is great for accessing any part of the city with streetcar stops right outside the hotel and u-bahn stops nearby as well. Vienna is one of the most fantastic cities in the world and everything about the Hilton Vienna Plaza helps enjoy this city for what it is. We will be back to Vienna and we will stay here again.

Nice european surroundings

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

I stayed at all three Hilton properties in Vienna — Park, Plaza, and Waterfront — and unfortunately Plaza was the least generous when it came to Gold member upgrades. It was the only one where I didn't receive an Executive Lounge upgrade. The room itself was spacious, and the view was lovely. However, I found the breakfast selection at Park to be better. Since Plaza tends to receive stronger reviews on Reddit and other travel forums, I came in with fairly high expectations, so the experience was a bit surprising. That said, the hotel certainly has its charm. The large windows and classic European atmosphere give the property a distinctive character that many travelers will appreciate. 왜 한국말만 words에 카운트 될까요. 트립어드바이저 에러같네요ㅠ

A place we want to return to

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

The Plaza is perfectly located on a quiet, leafy part of the Ring. The tram, bus and U-Bahn are all steps away, so it was extremely easy to get where we wanted to go. Actually, most places were an easy walk away, and exploring the neighborhood on foot was great fun. The hotel feels warm and welcoming the minute you step inside, and the staff are all extremely pleasant and accommodating. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We could spread out and relax comfortably after long days of sightseeing. The bathroom was luxurious; we loved the large bath, roomy shower, robe and slippers, and of course the Crabtree and Evelyn products.

Classy, elegant hotel right on the ring road.

A very good stay here. Right on the ring road, and there is a metro stop across the street including the #1 tram which will get you almost anywhere, although much of old town is within walking distance. There is a well stocked grocery store also about a block behind the hotel. Very impressive executive lounge- there are a lot of business travelers so it gets busy in the evening but space was never a problem, and wonderful selection of wines, beer, soft drinks and food in the lounge. We ate at the restaurant one night and it was very good. The service and staff here are exceptional.

Overall pretty nice hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

My mom and I visited in April 2026. Service is definitely the top feature of the hotel. They’re helpful, kind, and know their stuff. The room was good - we were on the executive floor - but it needed some TLC. Some piece of the shower fell off, the bathroom mirror light didn’t work, etc. We were like around some little corner in maybe what was an add on. Not sure. Oddly few outlets in the room. Like we had to put the tea kettle in the bathroom because there’s no outlet where the coffeemaker and tea are. Don’t love that the shampoo and conditioner in this five star hotel are the same at the airport Hilton Garden Inn. No heat you can control unless outside drops below a certain temp. They were nice enough to bring up a space heater (though the wheels were broken and with few outlets, it was a little tricky.) The executive lounge is nice. Breakfast in there is very good. The massage was outstanding - worth booking. If you want to workout, be mindful that stairs are required to get to the weighs and stuff. A little confused as some workers took tips and others refused. Not sure if there’s a policy. Fantastic location. We’d stay here again.
