Hilton Vienna Plaza

The experience in this hotel was great, and I would stay here again. There are many things going for this hotel. Location is perfect. If you want to walk to Stephansplatz it is a lovely 15 minute walk, and from there you are close to many things you will want to see and experience. Vienna is famous for a perfect public transportation system, and this location makes it so easy. You have several tram/bus/U stops around the hotel that will take you anywhere you want. Forget about taxis and Ubers in Vienna, because you really don't need them. Buy a daily or a weekly ticket, and off you go. If you want to visit places such as Belvedere Palace or attractions that are not walking distance, again, trams will take you directly to where you want to be. Hotel is spotless, smells incredible when you walk in, and colleagues working there are lovely and helpful. We got an upgrade through my Amex, and free breakfast through my Hilton status, both without any difficulties. Breakfast is great. There is a something for everybody, and everything we had was fresh and tasty. The room we got upgraded to was massive, and really made our stay more comfortable. AC is easy to control, free bottles of water every day, some biscuits as a welcome gift, and toiletries were lovely (Crabtree & Evelyn). I would highly recommend this hotel.

Returned to Vienna after 3 years and stayed again at the hotel I loved 3?years ago. This time only 3 nights. Diamond status acknowledged, and appreciated. Upgraded to executive room which was much appreciated. The hotel is How i remembered it. Clean, contemporary, sparkling in every area of the hotel. Loved the room, bathroom, fluffy robe , great bed and sheets ! The location amazing. You can catch a tram a block away that will take you to Parliament and many great attractions. We are attracted to the concerts and always make that a priority. Breakfast is above average for European hiltons which says a lot. Before i forget many thanks to Adam on the FD. Very professional, proper , friendly and knowledgeable. I am still maintaining my 5 rating but have a few suggestions for mgmt. i thought breakfast is great overall but feel tables are too close together. Makes us uncomfortable when folks are too close that are not in your party. I saw some folks offered tables in adjoining restaurant area. I think you need to expand the use of that overflow area. We think mote hygienic when tables spaced more. Possibly remove some tables on lower level and direct all parties greater than 2 to adjoining room. Regarding the exec lounge. I think above average during day for snacks for european hiltons but happy hour needs some minor changes in my opinion. Wine beer and spirits fine but we do not drink much. We went to 3 happy hours. Only 1 of 3 had a meat appetizer, namely pork which was fine. There were multiple vegetarian and vegan choices each day but only meat on 1 of 3 days. Chicken, pork, beef etc at least 1 offering per day please especially for those of us that drink less but appreciate a meat appetizer dish daily. Although i mentioned 2 areas i could see improved, this will continue to me my first choice in Vienna when I return on subsequent trips ! Highly recommend .

Excellent location, with a tram stop just outside, to see the sites of Vienna. With spacious quiet clean rooms.

We cannot fault this hotel. It is beautifully decorated with lovely fresh flower displays in the lobby; the room (a king executive with balcony) was functional with very comfortable bedding and all the staff were helpful and pleasant. It is well located, with only a short walk to major attractions and access to tram and metro down the road. We will stay here again if we come to Vienna.

First time in Vienna and certainly worth another visit! The hotel was fabulous. My husband is a diamond member so we travel a lot and stay in as many quality Hiltons as we can - preferably with an Executive Lounge. This one is ‘right up there’!!! From the onset, we found the staff welcoming, friendly and ‘above and beyond’. Thank you so much for a truly lovely stay with superb service. Special mention must therefore be given to our two amazing breakfast ladies, Cristina and Vanessa. You both did a brilliant job at making us feel so, so special! Cristina… your tea-making skills are perfect! Vanessa…or should I say ‘Bubbly Vanessa’…don’t ever change!!! Seriously… we loved our short 2 night stay. Thank you, too, Management! Faultless and exceptional’ We will definitely be passing this info on to our Hilton Honors friends.
