Luxury, culture, experience and indulgence describes the most famous Hotel Sacher. This is the finest hotel I have had the privilege of staying in 5 times since November 2024 and I live in America. The entire Sacher team provides the highest level of impeccable service for each guest who enters their magnificent front door greeted by the lovely handsome and charming doormen. The Sacher team provides the experience of the highest quality, infused with passion and topped off with an international flair and layers of excellence. I have the upmost respect for the history of this empire and the families who run it. I also adore everyone who works their. They put their heart and souls into their work and it is never done. They are constantly updating their properties and of course they are very famous across the world for the Sacher torte which is placed on your nightstand at turndown service. The decor is over the top and the food is simply divine. The truth is it is simp;y perfect. I am solo but it is great for couples and families many of which have been going there for many many years unlike me it is brand new and always exciting. Norhing is too much to ask. You ask and they deliver every time. When I arrive home I want to get right back on the plane to join them again. Each and everyone of them have stolen my heart.

Old-style hospitality near perfection. Great welcome, beautiful rooms, attentive service. Excellent breakfast and good dining (if a bit cramped) at the Roter Bar. The rooms feature soundproof windows and are meticulously cleaned. It was a great experience and probably the best hotel in Vienna today.

I have had a really bad and scary experience at the hotel. It was my dream since I was little to stay at this hotel. I love the vibes and the city of course. I booked a room that was located next to the housekeeping room and since the staff was going in and out there was a constant slamming of the door. I think that they should not be putting anyone in that room, honestly. I requested a different room, and the hotel staff at the reception handled the situation very professionally and I was happy with the outcome of the change of rooms. In fact, reception staff was excellent throughout the stay. That night in the new hotel room, I went to bed early around 8 PM, I was exhausted, I locked the door and didn't think twice about any safety issues. Around 9 PM or so, and while sleeping, I heard that my door opened and a man that was not dressed in Sacher official uniform was standing in my room with the vase and the roses in his hands. I jumped out of the bed not knowing what is going on. He was apologetic, but I was really confused and very scared with the whole thing. After he left, I realized there is no deadbolt on the door and I improvised with the furniture to secure the door and ensure no one can come in without me hearing it. I told someone in the morning- no follow up. I sent an email to the hotel- no response. I don't think that I should have experience this ordeal anywhere, but especially not at the Sacher hotel where one night costs almost a thousand dollars. This I am writing mainly for the ladies travelling alone- I don't want anyone to feel the way I felt. As for the hotel, at this point I don't need the response or an apology, but a full refund to my credit card will do.

When going to Vienna I chose the Sans Souci Wein over Sacher Wein and I am glad I did. It sounds petty but on entry (and exit) I was obstructed then questioned rather than greeted, were curt when I attempted to reserve a table in the bar and claimed not to know where the Ritz Charlton was. Magnificent stay at Sans Souci and great service at the Ritz.

Came here just for the cake when we had some free time from a tour. No reservations. Only waited about 5-10 minutes for a table. It was worth it. Beautiful restaurant. Sacher cake was quite good (the original). Completely worth the calories.
