Superb hotel in fantastic location

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

Excellent hotel in a great location. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We arrived early to drop off our luggage but were pleased when the reception staff were able to let us into our room before the check in time. The room was very spacious, modern and quiet. Throughout our stay the room was kept spotless by the meticulous Housekeeping team. And the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed ever! The breakfast was plentiful with a huge variety of cheeses, cold meats, bread and also sweet treats, yoghurts and fruit. Spoilt for choice. The location of the hotel is very central with many attractions within walking distance. During our stay we had planned to use public transport but, in many instances, found it unnecessary. All in all, a wonderful four-night stay in Vienna, the staff and hotel should be very proud of the service they offer.

Excellent

It was a stay that surpassed my expectations, with the amazing care from the staff, the facility itself and the location. The room has a great size, with a more modern style to it. Bed was comfortable, nice view from the courtyard, heated floor in the bathroom. The only issues I would mention from the room was that the temperature was too hot and we couldn't turn down the temperature, so it got warm during the night. The other one was that our room was a connecting room, which made it a bit noisy sometimes. Except for that, there is nothing but compliments. Cleaning and neatness were on point. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of options. Fresh fruits and yoghurt, good coffee and pastries. The high point was the attention and care for my birthday, receiving a card, a bottle of sparkling wine and a special breakfast table with roses and cake to celebrate. It made the whole stay even more special! The location of it is very central, with Billa right in front of it, one block away from the tram, and 500m only from the main museums and attractions. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy. The value paid was worth the experience, being a good cost/benefit.

A very pleasant experience

I thought this is a great hotel. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious, the location is central, very near the museum quarter and the Rathaus, the reception staff were very helpful and the food was great. The hotel did have fitness equipment in the basement. There was one room with a couple of bikes, a treadmill, a cross trainer and a mutligym. I managed to do an hours training every evening on the bikes/crosstrainer and treadmill. There was a steam room and sauna but I didn't use them. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Very nice little hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 months ago

Good location on the edge of Innerstadt just behind the Town Hall. Quite a small and quiet hotel in terms of atmosphere, albeit we barely used any facilities. The rooms were of a good size although we did not like the two single duvets on a double bed. Very strange. Good value for the location and we were able to use Avios points for the booking which was useful.
