Palais Hansen Kempinski Vienna

We visited Vienna and stayed at the super luxurious Anantara which was recently renovated. Every detail felt like luxury and under the leadership of Patrick it is was nothing less than a perfect experience. We left Vienna for a few days to explore another town and Patrick and the team were so kind to keep our extra luggage stored away safely so we can travel light. Patrick also gave us excellent tips and ensured we felt at home. On our return to the hotel tonight we were surprised with yet more kind snd generous gestures, including a beautiful bouquet of flowers! We were thoroughly spoiled during our stay here and would highly recommend the hotel. The value for money is exceptional. The interior exquisite. The modern marble bathroom and automated shower/tub first of a kind. We did not want to leave after all the luxury. They also have the best team of waiters in the breakfast room and so much choice of delicious dishes! From Japanese, to middle Eastern, to European to British, to French... You cannot go wrong if you stay here. Everything is top quality and better than many 5 star hotels I've stayed in. Again a big thank you to the exceptional professionalism of Patrick who is an asset to the hotel. We look forward to visiting again soon.

We found Anantara through AmEx travel and were completely blown away by the aesthetics, service, and overall hotel offering. Recently remodeled, the hotel is stunning but also comfortable with impeccable service. The daily breakfast was exceptional and the bar, Theo’s, was amazing. Our bartender, Kiro, provided perfect service and was friendly and helpful. We will definitely make a return visit!!

This is a lovely hotel that is very close to the center of Vienna, only about 15 minutes walk from St. Stevens Cathedral. My wife wanted to stay at a central location in a hotel that would ensure that our trip was fantastic and we were not dissapointed. All the staff here greet you with a smile, always checking to make sure that you have everything that you need and go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is amazing. Our stay was so good that when we returned from a 4 day trip to the Wacau we booked this hotel again for our last 3 days in Vienna. The breakfast buffet is fabulous, the gym is very good and the bar area is beautiful. Both our stays were in amazing rooms which exceeded our expectations, we are very happy with our choice of hotels. A special shout out to the breakfast staff who work very hard every morning, great work Karim and Angelika.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Anantara. The property itself is beautiful, historic, and conveniently located; we felt immersed in true Viennese charm. The highlight of our stay, however, was the superb service offered by every member of the Anantara team. Special shout-outs to: Micaiah (reception), who went out of his way to make us feel welcome and very promptly fulfilled our requests; Cabor (concierge), who offered us insightful and detailed recommendations for our short time in the city; Ray (lobby lounge/bar), who was incredibly sweet, friendly, and accommodating; and Francesca/Georg (reception/reservations), who helped resolve errors on our check-out invoice with alacrity. We booked our stay through the Capital One Premier Collection and found that the hotel did full justice to the perks included (along with giving us a lovely arrangement of welcome gifts full of local color!). We would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a centrally located luxury hotel with warm, enthusiastic, and competent service :).

We loved our stay and very much enjoyed the blend of old and modern. They successfully combined elegance and luxury without being pretentious. Our room was spacious and phenomenal. Atrium is gorgeous and an excellent spot to chill out before heading to your next stop. The hotel is within walking distance from main attractions. Breakfast was excellent with Austrian pastries: I had the best linzer cake!
