SO Vienna exceeded all expectations. Modern, spotless rooms, incredibly comfortable bedding, and an upscale atmosphere throughout. The customer service truly stands out—professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Great spa, delicious food, and an overall outstanding experience. Highly recommend!

SO/Vienna is surely the best hotel in Vienna! The hotel's location is prenium, situated walking distance from historical landmarks, museums, the State Opera House & other concert halls, restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, shopping areas, transport (taxi services, metro stationand the tramway)! And from client service to rooms decor &citywide cleanliness to amenities, everything was excellent! The city view from the breakfast restaurant on the 18th floor with ceiling-to-floor glass windows/walls is just spectacular! I've particularly appreciated the high quality of customer service; special thanks to Joebelle and Anousha who were so attentive and who showed care in customer needs - you've made a huge difference in my experience at SO/Vienna...Dankeschön!

The location was good, and the staff were very friendly. However, the interiors are so poorly designed that it’s really bewildering to see so many positive online reviews. The reception is so unwelcoming, and hotel rooms have been designed by somebody who clearly has absolutely no idea about hotel room design - the lighting was so dim that we had to use a torch to look inside our suitcases. All the cabinet doors made a loud slamming noise when closed. There are no side tables for the bed. The sofa is so cheap looking. The TV didn’t allow casting etc etc. Basically, everything feels cheap and totally impractical. If you’re expecting a 5 star hotel you’ll be bitterly disappointed. We literally didn’t look forward to returning to the hotel after a day out. Sadly, this is really at a level of perhaps a Holiday Inn Express.

My family received a very warm welcome from the moment my family arrived and they made our stay truly memorable. We celebrated a special occasion, and they made sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay. Thank you to everyone especially Sofia, Emina, Daniel, and Claudia for going above and beyond. Special thanks as well to Ramona for going the extra mile, Anastasia and Manuel for making our little one happy, Nenad for helping us secure a dinner reservation and to the whole breakfast team! We truly appreciate the wonderful hospitality.

We recently accommodated our invited guests at SO/ Vienna, and the experience was truly excellent from start to finish. A special thank you to Manuela Peter, who was absolutely outstanding throughout the entire process. She was very patient with all our requests, almost always reachable, and consistently friendly. Her warm attitude made the organization smooth. Our guests were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to better rooms, which they truly appreciated. They were extremely happy with the overall stay — especially the cleanliness of the rooms, the comfortable atmosphere, and the nice view of Vienna. The breakfast was also highly admired. We are very grateful for the excellent service. We are definitely looking forward to accommodating our guests at SO/ Vienna again in the future. Highly recommended!
