SO/Vienna

Stayed in SO Vienna for the new year celebration for three nights. Overall a very positive expetience - rooms are quite big, the view is perfect, breakfast at 18th floor are somewhat to do even if you dont stay at the hotel. During 31 of december there was maximal occupancy in the hotel and the waiting time for a table at the breakfast was several minutes, but thats understandable considering the new year celebration. Staff is super friendly and is ready to do everything to make your stay conlmforyable. So a solid 5* and recommend to stay if you like SO design.

The hotel is contemporary, clean, and very quiet, and the panoramic city views — particularly from the higher floors — are absolutely beautiful and a real highlight of the stay. The design is bold and creative but felt a little wacky in places. The shutters were unusual, and the sliding panels separating the bathroom from the bedroom were awkward and difficult to manoeuvre. The beds and pillows were also extremely soft and lacked ergonomic support. We even requested replacement pillows that were described as “firm,” but unfortunately they were still very soft and didn’t provide proper support. We also experienced the hot water running out on three separate occasions, which was disappointing and unexpected for a five-star hotel. Breakfast, however, was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options, and the staff throughout the hotel were friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The gym was also very good for the size of the hotel and well equipped. Room service was fast and tasty, but the menu was quite limited with few choices available. Overall, a visually striking hotel with incredible views and strong service.

Hands down best Hotel in Vienna! Great staff and very welcoming - definitely gonna be back next year and hopefully stay longer there!

Great food, great drinks, great spa, stunning view. 10/10 would recommend to check out at least for a drink in the rooftop bar

Great rooms, great service, great food and really great view, especially from the LOFT ;) All in all great experience, will go again for sure!
