My husband booked this hotel to celebrate my 50th birthday and I was certainly not disappointed. Outstanding views, attentive staff, beautiful food and amazing facilities. Breakfast selection was extension and everything was fresh and delicious. Pizzeria on site and al a carte restaurant also - so lots of choices! Also at the pool we ordered delicious panines. House keepers were brilliant and checked several times a day if we needed fresh towels and extremely pleasant ❤️ the hotel has spa facilities and multiple seating areas to enjoy the views. A free shuttle bus is provided to bring you into the town and will collect you also. Overall I absolutely loved my holiday and stay at Hotel Raito and would highly recommend.

We stayed at Hotel Raito in Vietri sul Mare as part of a tour group, and unfortunately the experience fell far short of what one would expect from a hotel presenting itself as a five-star luxury property. The hotel itself may have a strong setting and appearance, but the service we received from senior management, the front office manager, and several desk staff members was deeply disappointing. It felt as though our group was not welcome, and when issues arose, they were handled poorly and without the professionalism, courtesy, or hospitality one would expect at this level. One major issue was the poor mobile signal and unreliable Wi-Fi in the rooms. This was particularly problematic for our tour director, who needed to work in the evenings to communicate with clients and suppliers and confirm the next day’s arrangements. Rather than showing understanding or trying to help find a solution, staff appeared to shift blame and suggested the problem was with her phone. There was little accountability and no meaningful effort to assist. On another occasion, some members of our group were denied use of the hotel shuttle and were rudely told to take a taxi. Most concerning was the response when one of our guests became unwell. The manager’s reaction was, in my view, appalling — angry, arrogant, and lacking compassion. Regardless of the circumstances, the tone and hostility shown were completely unacceptable. A five-star hotel should be defined not only by its location or facilities, but by the way it treats its guests, especially when problems arise. Based on our experience, Hotel Raito needs serious hospitality and customer-service training at a minimum. I would not recommend this hotel for tour groups, and I would be very hesitant to recommend it to individual travelers either.

The Front Desk and reception staff of this so called 5 star hotel need a lesson in how to deal with customers. It is not acceptable in any way to be rude to clients who are suddenly taken ill, or require use of the hotel shuttle bus. It is also unprofessional and rude not to try and solve problems with the Internet service, which was failing and inadequate in this hotel. The hotel has a duty of care towards it's clients and this was sadly missing during our stay. Staff should be trained to listen and offer help and not dismiss client problems as inconvenient. I would suggest wholesale retraining of front line staff in this hotel to achieve modern standards of care towards it's clients. The sooner, the better.

From the moment of arrival, this sanctuary redefines the very meaning of perfection. Every single detail operates on a level of quiet excellence that feels both effortless and deeply intentional. The Sanctuary & Experience The estate itself is a masterclass in elegance, seamlessly blending serene luxury with striking design. The suite was nothing short of extraordinary—panoramic views, immaculate craftsmanship, and a level of comfort that makes stepping outside almost difficult. The dining, too, reached culinary heights rarely encountered, with every flavor, presentation, and wine pairing executed to absolute perfection. Unrivaled Hospitality What truly elevates this paradise above all others is its extraordinary team. The staff possess that rare, intuitive art of hospitality: immensely professional, impeccably discreet, and remarkably warm. Every request was anticipated before it was spoken; every interaction felt like a genuine welcome rather than a polished routine. They don't just deliver five-star service—they curate unforgettable moments with unmatched grace. Many thanks to Carmelo, Rita, Alexandra, Carla ( sorry for the names forgotten). A rare gem where perfection is not merely an aspiration, but the standard. Exceptional in every conceivable way.

Brand new and immaculate, the buffet breakfast was excellent, with plenty to chose from and it was very convenient to get to downtown Vietri.

My husband and I just returned home last week from Hotel Raito on the Amalfi Coast. We had a wonderful time with our friends at that amazing property! The people at the hotel could not be more hospitable. They voluntarily upgraded us, even though I am sure that their regular rooms would have been fabulous, too. We will highly recommend to everyone we know what a great experience we had. Thanks again for making our trip so memorable.
