Parking decline and incline was too steep for Mercedes Sprinter vehicle to easily enter and exit the private parking lot. The front desk staff checked me in, along with my three children, however, it was made clear to them that I'd have a business partner visiting to hang-out while in town. Upon checking-in late at night, and trying to get some rest, my room phone kept ringing while I was trying to shower and get the kids to bed. Once I answered the phone, the overzealous lady at the front desk was accusing me of sneaking my business partner (a female) into the suite. If I wanted to pay for an additional guest, I would have, but they were simply visiting from a neighboring property while my family was in town. You'd think the lady at the front desk and Luigi (the morning manager whom I spoke to while checkin-out) were pseudo or wannabe Carabinieri. They literally waited-up all night to ensure that my guest would not sleep in the room, and truth-be-told, the didn't. We stayed-up talking and working until sunrise, and then prepared to leave this property, as it was literally the only hotel property in all of Italy that we felt extremely uncomfortable in and during our stay. They position this property as a 5-star, but it's a dated 3 star at best, and everyone (I believe they had a handful of guests staying there at the same time I was there) that was there was of retirement age. It was so awkward when we went to dine-in for dinner on the night of the check-in. We were the only table in the entire restaurant and everything was overpriced for mediocre food. You could tell the chef and wait-staff wanted to impress our family and work colleague, but they were too eager, not formally trained in dining room service, and putting-out plates that were visually striking but lacking in quantity, flavor, and execution. The food and drinks were unmemorable. Stale. The only memory we really have of this place, is how excited we all were to leave. Stay away!

The best experience possible. The location and views could not be better! More than anything, the staff was kind and very helpful. Stayed 8 days. Only complaint is that sometimes the room cleaning was late in the day. Beautiful balconies! Nice restaurant and very welcoming feel. The swimming pool is large and wonderful

Check-in was a breeze, and the hospitality didn’t stop there. We were looked after by the front desk team throughout our entire stay — and even afterward, when we ran into a travel issue in D’Aranchi Marina. Huge thanks to Sharon, Alessia, Brigitta, and of course Luigi, the manager. Their support was above and beyond.

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic. The town of Raito itself is quite far from any restaurants or shops ect in Vietri Sul Mare, however the hotel provides a shuttle which we used several times throughout our stay and found it to be very convenient. There is also a bus stop directly outside of the hotel which is €3 each and will take you into town if the shuttle timetable does not adhere to your schedule. Ferry’s are available from vietri Sal mare which stop along the coast. The reception staff are extremely helpful- booking us taxis, shuttles and the restaurant throughout our stay. The views throughout the hotel are incredible. We ate in the main restaurant twice and both times the food was amazing. I am a vegetarian and found them to be very accommodating. Particularly, Franco in the restaurant was lovely and very attentive. We also ate in the pizza and grill restaurant for lunch on a few occasions which was lovely. The breakfast was okay. The room was slightly disappointing compared to photos online, however, it did the job and the cleaning staff were very attentive, cleaning twice a day to a good standard. We hope to return at some point in the near future.

I wanted to love this place and typically look past bad reviews at hotels because they usually seem like uniquely poor experiences people have and they give unfair reviews. However, many of the reviews here are accurate. It's simply not close to a 5 star. We stayed here for 4 nights on an 11 day trip throughout Italy. The views are great, but it's not walkable and you can't always rely on the shuttle times matching up with your schedule. The lunch spot was open the first day, and closed randomly the next few days, leaving only the one restaurant available for food, which had the same menu they have for dinner and no decent lunch options. Ending up taking a taxi to the city to find lunch. When we did eat dinner at the restaurant, the food was good. Many of the employees were not on the same page and caused a lot of running around to schedule things like the spa. The automatic sliding door attached to our section of the hotel made an extremely loud screetching noise every time it closed, and we heard it non-stop from our room at all hours of the night. They were doing some work in our section of the hotel at the very early hours and was impossible to ignore. The house keeping did not stop by our room for the first 2 days (not the biggest deal, we are pretty tidy), but then came knocking at 8am on our third day while were sleeping. It was super sporadic. The sink drain was terrible and the shower head had plenty of issues. On the bright side, the pool area was beautiful and we enjoyed our time out there. The views from the lobby, pool deck and rooms are spectacular and were by far the biggest take away from the hotel. Not the worst stay ever, but worth looking into other accomodations.

Brand new and immaculate, the buffet breakfast was excellent, with plenty to chose from and it was very convenient to get to downtown Vietri.

My husband and I just returned home last week from Hotel Raito on the Amalfi Coast. We had a wonderful time with our friends at that amazing property! The people at the hotel could not be more hospitable. They voluntarily upgraded us, even though I am sure that their regular rooms would have been fabulous, too. We will highly recommend to everyone we know what a great experience we had. Thanks again for making our trip so memorable.
