Wanted a final relaxing hotel experience after a week of exploring Capri and Amalfi. Booked Raito to spend a long Friday before flying out late afternoon Saturday. I’ll keep it short. Elevator and hallways smelled. The room was business hotel level, not comfy. Not resort level. The pizza restaurant was closed due to “weather”, but it was the sunniest day of the week. I have a feeling it is frequently closed. It was a Friday mind you. We ate and the main restaurant, but the service and selection was so bad that half our party wanted to Uber somewhere else to eat. Service was the worst we experienced in a week of eating all over the coast. Restaurant didn’t take Amex, but the hotel did. Separately owned? Awkward. Trying to keep with the idea of a relaxed last day, we decided the spa would be a good idea. Come to find out the spa opens at 4pm on a Friday. What kinda spa opens at 4pm on a Friday? So, we decided to just go straight to the airport rather than stay at this hotel. We had 4 rooms and 5 people total. We only put our bags in the room, didn’t even unpack. We left within an hour of arrival. The manager chose not to refund any of our rooms. He did offer us drinks at the bar. We declined. Manager never actually talked to us personally. The front desk staff was very nice, probably the best thing about this hotel. They were within their rights to keep our money, but missing 2 key amenities is pretty bad. If you’re in Sollerno area and are looking for very basic rooms and very limited amenities, this is the place for you. If you’re looking for a full service hotel to relax and unwind, I’d find an alternative.

We booked this at the last minute because of a flight change. While the outside looks nice, the inside is terrible. The hallways and rooms smelled awful. The rooms do not look at all like the pictures. The beds are extremely low quality and the bathroom and shower are very small. We went down to eat pizza which was closed because of the “storm,” but it was clear outside. The seafood restaurant is the only other option and the servers were rude and the menu was unappealing and expensive. We had to request everything multiple times and ultimately the food was not good. We attempted to head to the spa, which is only open from 4-8 pm? We were able to get an earlier flight and explained the situation to the front desk, but despite not having used the room at all, they would not give even a partial refund. Skip this place.

I stayed at the Hotel Raito recently for a week's vacation. It's a beautiful hotel with lovely views overlooking the Gulf of Salerno and the town of Vietri sul Mare. My room was spacious, clean, and quiet (with AC), although it could have benefited from better lighting and a makeup mirror in the bathroom. The buffet breakfast was excellent and very extensive; the restaurant looked out over the water. The hotel staff were invariably nice, accessible, and professional. I used the small exercise room, which is in a separate part of the hotel, open 7 am-9 pm. It has 4 Technogym bikes (3 recumbent, 1 "regular"--in so-so condition), a treadmill, weight machines, some free weights, etc. There were a few issues I had with the hotel: First, it's up a long, winding road with no walkways, so going to the town is dependent on the too-infrequent shuttle service or taxis. Second, the hotel doesn't have a small, casual meal option (e.g., in the bar area) between breakfast and dinner, which starts at 7 pm. While my room had a mini refrigerator, I wish it had had a tea/coffee maker. Aside from those issues, I enjoyed my stay.

No way the rooms they offer correspond to a 5-star hotel, they could be 2 / 3 stars, although I think they don't get to that. They are really horrible, lacking the slightest decoration, old, without any quality element. The staff is attentive but that does not solve the quality of the building. The breakfast was good, the food was regular.

Beautiful hotel with exceptional restaurant. The staff were so nice and accomodating of every request we had. The pool with view of Vietri beach is amazing and provides for a calm and relaxing experience with plenty of space to lay in the sun. The best part is the restaurant, if you stay here you must have dinner here as well. The food was delicious and innovative.

Brand new and immaculate, the buffet breakfast was excellent, with plenty to chose from and it was very convenient to get to downtown Vietri.

My husband and I just returned home last week from Hotel Raito on the Amalfi Coast. We had a wonderful time with our friends at that amazing property! The people at the hotel could not be more hospitable. They voluntarily upgraded us, even though I am sure that their regular rooms would have been fabulous, too. We will highly recommend to everyone we know what a great experience we had. Thanks again for making our trip so memorable.
