About the Hotel
The Meliá Buenavista welcomes you to its adults only resort surrounded by beaches where guests will experience the most exclusive services and details. Our hotel offers 105 modern and comfortable SUITES, all of which overlook glorious views of the sea, gardens or pool. In addition to our SUITES, our hotel offers the exclusive Villa Zaida del Río - named after the prestigious Cuban artist whose unique paintings and prints decorate it's interior walls. The Villa has a private entrance, a dining room, a kitchen-bar, a lounge with bath, and terraces on the ground floor. The upstairs bedroom has a king size bed, a lounge-office, a bathroom with hydromassage tub and shower, and terraces overseeing the beautiful surroundings.

2nd Visit to MB and it didn’t disappoint
Choosing Meliá Buenavista for a last-minute getaway was the perfect decision! This was our second visit to the resort—the first being our destination wedding in 2023—and it continues to exceed our expectations. The three stunning beaches and exceptional staff make this an easy pick for my husband and me. A special shoutout to Lester, Yaikel, and Luis Angel at the pool bar; Chaudiere and Leidy at the lobby bar; Yanisleidy in the restaurants; Idel and his wife in housekeeping; Jamela at the spa; and Dayron, Navy, and Levan at the beach. Thank you all for making our stay unforgettable once again. We will definitely be back!

Amazing private beaches with the best service
Beautiful resort with 3 stunning and quite distinct beaches. Service is superb - everyone there is super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Food is very good - despite national shortages and general supply difficulties they are amazing at producing high quality food every day. Pool side pizza oven produces the best pizzas in Cuba! Pool side bar guys are amazing - attentive service, great humour and always a very warm welcome. Had a great time here, even out of season it was a superb stay.

Absolutely loved this place, we stayed in winter so as we expected less was open than in high season but the staff and the food was amazing as was the service, nothing was too much trouble or unavailable. We will happily come back again.

Great things come in small packages
This was our 5th visit to Meliá Buenavista and it did not disappoint! All the staff are extraordinary and go above and beyond to make all guests feel welcomed and special, most notably Lester, Yaikel, Piti, Pedro, Branyan, Navily, Andrexson, Chadiere, Idel, Leinielys, Shelin, Palmero, Leiven, Perdomo, Carlos, Jeanette, Yanislady, Lady, Manuel…a great team of people. The 3 beaches are magnificent. The food and drinks were top notch….we will be returning without a doubt!
