Reviews for Hotel Le Germain Quebec

This boutique hotel was an absolute gem

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

A truly delightful boutique hotel experience. Charming, cozy, and beautifully designed, with welcoming staff and inviting shared spaces, especially the lovely wood-burning fireplace lounge where we enjoyed unwinding on a snowy evening after exploring Quebec City. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the entire atmosphere felt warm, charming, and thoughtfully curated to create a peaceful and memorable experience.

Understanding and helpful

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

My wife and I were set to spend 3 days over Valentine's at Le Germain after spending the previous 4 days at Mont Tremblant. Unfortunately, I came down with the flu and we had to head home early. We were set to stay at Le Germain, and were looking forward to it as friends had spoken of it highly, but with my flu we had to cancel. The hotel team was both understanding and helpful in making the cancellation trouble free - better than most. We will make this hotel our choice for Quebec City as we visit at least once per year - if we can like them this much when we didn't get a chance to stay, am sure we'll love them when we do!

Wonderful Hotel in the Heart of Quebec City

Great Location! Great Staff who were very friendly and responsive to requests. Stayed here in late November to visit the Christmas markets and loved it. Very close to everything and lots of great restaurants very close by. Lovely lobby which was very pleasant for drinks and snacks. Very clean, very quiet. Stylish boutique decor -- rooms were a little dark. Great amenities. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was wonderful. Definitely recommend.

Lovely smaller hotel.

This is a lovely, small hotel very well located in lower old town Quebec. The staff is very helpful and accommodating in both French and English. The room was large and very well kept, including two visits a day (clean up and turn down). Family members stayed at the Hilton and Marriott and found this hotel superior in every way, except amenities (no pool, limited restaurant) and parking. Parking is limited, so some cars have to be moved around by the concierge.

Charming, Well-Situated Hotel with Excellent Staff

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

We had an absolutely lovely day at this charming hotel. We came to celebrate a rather large birthday (mine). We found the beds and the room quite comfortable, not to mention quiet. The hotel is located close to everything, but it’s not on a touristy street, which is great. We were especially impressed by the quality of the service. Everyone was warm and helpful. I had a question about going to Montmorency Falls, as I was reading conflicting information about access and fees on the Internet. The young woman at the front desk wasn’t sure how to answer my questions, so she took it upon herself in the moment to call Montmorency Falls and get the answers I was looking for right there and then. That’s excellent customer service. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Quebec City. :-)
