At Le Germain Hotel Quebec, you’ll stay in a century-old building in Quebec City’s Old Port. Once named Germain-Dominion, it retains all the cachet and contagious charm of this grand era. We have preserved the original woodwork and stones to create a mix of classic and contemporary architecture. You’ll be impressed and seduced by the warm, luxurious and welcoming atmosphere as well as the unparalleled service of our dedicated staff.

We enjoyed our stay here. The service was attentive and nice. The hotel is very well located, walking distance to all the sights at old Quebec town. It’s a beautiful building. The room was spacious but the bed was small and the bathroom didn’t have any counter space. Besides that, all was good.

Small and cosy hotel located in Old Quebec with valet parking immediately behind the hotel, charged at $40.00 CAD per night. This is towards the outskirts of Old Quebec in a quiet street, with easy access to shops, restaurants and the Funicular to the historic sites and boardwalk. Whilst there are limited dining options (continental buffet breakfast at a cost of $21 CAD), there are plenty of local dining options and Louise Tavern across the road is a convenient option for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The foyer area has some creature comforts, with comfortable chairs, tables, free tea and coffee facilities. WiFi is available. The rooms are comfortable, a good size and well appointed, We had some noise coming through the walls - likely the plumbing and heating system - but were moved to a quieter room on a higher floor. The staff are friendly and attentive. Overall, a comfortable stay in a good location.

The room we stayed in was comfortable but the decor is odd- several reviewers have commented on the dark ceilings and decor. The breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful. Bed was comfortable. Good location to explore the old town. Car park on site for a fee.

Boutique-style hotel. With a large room in the old town of Quebec close to the harbour. Great surroundings and an ideal situation for exploring the city. Some fixtures ie shower were a little style over substance but overall, I would recommend.

Nice little hotel although a little dated , 10 minute walk from the train station , Quebec City old town is lovely , staff really friendly and helpful, breakfast was a little strange not much on offer but enough , no onsite restaurant. Plenty of places to eat nearby.
