Les Sources de Caudalie

Unbelievable property located on the domains of an exceptional Grand Cru winery. The French charm oozes out everywhere in the best of ways, with attentive service and stunning food. Cannot miss and worth every euro. We travelled as a family and the amenities offered without asking were classy and thoughtful. Bravo.

We had a wonderful stay at Les Sources. Every staff member we came in contact with was warm and helpful. The food was excellent. Our room was outstanding. The grounds were peaceful. Highly recommend and can't wait to return!

Great place if you make sure you are in the main building. Other than that stad is great, facilities are Magnificat. Fantastic breakfast!

While many things are as to be expected at a 5 star hotel, couple of observations after 5 nights : We were pleasantly surprised by the staff at the front desk, room service and especially the restaurants. They did everything they could to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. The restaurants are spot on, bistro as one would expect and the Michelin star restaurant again positively surprised us. Bar Rouge is a bit of a let down. Staff appears unsupervised and comes across arrogant. Serving a cappuccino with cold milk because the machine did not work. We asked why not tell us that upfront, we got a strange look. They were out of certain glasses but told us these would also do. Weird, bit young and inexperienced. The fitness is not up to par. Too small, not maintained well and water was often not available. Surprised they did not include this in the SPA as most 5 star hotels do. While we liked many things about our Signature suite (62) but two things don’t make it a 5 star experience. There is no privacy, neighbors look into your bedroom and living room, sitting outside is shoulder to shoulder with the neighbors. Not appropriate for this price level. The far bigger issues however is the very poor sound insulation. We had young families next to us and could hear everything. This makes the whole suite experience a let down. The sofa is a sofa bed which makes sitting a disappointment too. Suite 63 is next to the loading/unloading area of the hotel so would not recommend that either. 59 looked best positioned. We would make this an adult only wing to avoid the noise issue.

2nd visit to this unique location. Accommodation was superb. Location and surroundings are so peaceful and relaxing. All staff very helpful and pleasant. Expensive but worth it for a holiday of a lifetime
