Borgo Pignano

Great place, stunning views with close distance to nearby towns. Super friendly and helpful staff. Luxurious accommodations. There’s also so much to do, multiple pools, sports courts, gym, riding, library, billiards room, games, the list goes on and on. 100% recommend.

The moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the reception staff and shown immediately to the garden where we experienced an amazing aperitif served by knowledgable & friendly bar staff. We ate at the Al Fresco restaurant as the sun set. The food was glorious only out shown by the amazing service and panoramic view.

We arrived at Borgo Pignano for one night and immediately wanted to extend our stay, this was before we were aware that we had been upgraded to the most stunning signature suite we have ever stayed in with views towards Volterra. We were treated as individuals and as if we were family. The Borgo is impeccable in every way, the service, the ambience, style, attention to detail, stunning art and the views, goodness the views. We kept finding treasures, such as the billiard room, library, herb room, and of course the Italian fiat collection. The food was divine, particularly the tasting menu with the most perfectly paired wine served in the beautiful Michelin green star restaurant. The highlight was the tour with Gigi on one of the many golf carts where we picked prunes directly from the trees and fed the pigs. He was simply wonderful and showed real empathy when I found out some sad personal news whilst at the hotel. My partner and I are already planning a trip back to Pignano and I can’t wait.

Borgo Pignano is a phenomenal experience combining ultra luxe accommodations, food, wine and daily experiences in the heat of the Tuscan countryside. It is simply a unique journey to have the pleasure of staying at one of the best accommodations in the world with one of the best staff I have experienced going the extra mile in every aspect to make sure your family is well taken care of. The grounds, the accommodations the vibe, everything has been well thought out and executed to give each guest the very best in luxury travel experiences. Run, don’t walk for an opportunity to have one of the best experiences in travel you will ever have!

We stayed at Borga Pignano for 4 nights. What a wonderful experience. We were blown away by the resort grounds, the hospitality and decor. This is a place you can come for many years. We took two children with us and they are very accommodating for families. Loved it!
