We had the most wonderful weekend at Borgo Pignano Volterra hotel — a truly magical Tuscan property surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The beautiful setting, exceptional cuisine and impeccable service made our stay unforgettable. One of the absolute highlights was meeting Luigi (Gigi) who gave us a fascinating private tour of the property . With warmth, charm and a genuine passion for Borgo Pignano, he opened the door to some of its most special hidden treasures: the private winery, the stables and the apiary. Everything here is lovingly preserved according to centuries-old traditions and maintained to the highest standard. Gigi is a wonderful storyteller and the perfect guide. In his company, you do not simply visit the hotel — you truly feel its soul and discover an atmosphere filled with centuries of Tuscan history. I wholeheartedly recommend that every guest spend this magical hour with Gigi. It is a very special experience that brings the history, beauty and authentic spirit of Borgo Pignano to life. Borgo Pignano was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy and exactly what we hoped the Tuscan countryside would feel like. The property itself is extraordinary—centuries-old architecture surrounded by rolling hills, vineyards, gardens, and some of the most beautiful views imaginable. There is a wonderful sense of history here, but without sacrificing comfort or service. The infinity pool built into the hillside is spectacular. What really sets Borgo Pignano apart, though, is that the property is a destination in itself. We loved their wine, learning about the bees, truffle hunting with the dogs, the herbal lab experience, walking the grounds, eating outdoors, and simply slowing down and enjoying the countryside. Breakfast each morning was exceptional, with fresh-squeezed orange juice, local pastries, proteins, and beautiful ingredients. The service throughout our stay was warm, attentive, and highly personalized. The location is also ideal for exploring Tuscany. We easily visited Volterra, Sienna, and San Gimignano, yet returning to the quiet of Borgo Pignano afterward felt like coming back to our own little corner of Tuscany. For travelers who appreciate history, architecture, excellent wine, organic agriculture, beautiful food, and understated luxury rather than a resort atmosphere, Borgo Pignano is something very special. We would absolutely return.

Borgo Pignano is definetely one of the best around Tuscan! The service, rooms, food and pool are off the chart! We had a very pleasant experience with Gigi visiting the hotel area and surroundings! Location is great for San Giminiano, Volterra and Siena! Would definitely come back

### A Long-Awaited Stay in the Heart of Tuscany Our four-night stay at this beautiful five-star Tuscan resort was truly worth the wait. Originally planned for 2020 and again in 2021 with our children and their families, both trips were canceled because of COVID, making our eventual visit with friends especially meaningful. The estate’s breathtaking landscapes, historic surroundings, and peaceful atmosphere exceeded our expectations. Service was exceptional, with warm, attentive staff throughout our stay. Gigi’s estate tour was a highlight; his knowledge and enthusiasm deepened our appreciation for this remarkable property. We especially appreciated the Fiat museum and state of the art gym, tennis courts and lap pool. We also enjoyed the resort’s amenities and convenient shuttle to San Gimignano, allowing us to explore the charming medieval hill town before returning to the estate’s relaxed atmosphere. This memorable combination of beauty, history, exceptional service, and Tuscan charm made the long wait worthwhile. We are grateful to have finally visited and would gladly return.
