The hotel is petite but very pretty , good quality design. Things to improve : - make the pool adult only . As I said the hotel and so even the pool are not huge, it’s a very chilling hight end place that get unfortunately ruined by the screams and the splashes of the kids. - lunch menu doesn’t have enough healthy choices . More fish dishes are desirable . - please improve the lights in the room especially in the bathroom , I can’t understand what color I’m painting my face when I try to make my make up. - introduce narghilè/ shisha if possible.

Shame on this place for having no respect to their customers. Horrible service, rooms don’t live up to expectations. Overpriced. Let’s start from the check-in. I arrived at 2 am tired after 2 days of traveling to the destination. No one greets you at the door. No one helps with luggage. Front desk staff was very rude, unfriendly and unwelcoming. No one helped with my luggage to the room. The room turned out to be nothing like the pictures they post on their website , but also it wasn’t the room category I booked. The category I booked was promised to have sea and forest view, which a cheaper room category didn’t offer, hence it affected my decision to book a more expensive room. The room I was provided had street view and view of balconies of the building in front. I called the front desk and asked why my room didn’t match my booking. Front desk guy continued being rude to me and said that they don’t guarantee any view (while the description of room categories on their website specifies the views!). And he suggested that if I want a better view I can pay €100 extra per night. I asked to see the room he suggested me to pay extra for and it appeared to be an exactly same room with exactly same view as mine, just one floor above. The room was shown to me by another person who didn’t have any context of the situation and no one contacted me after I said that the suggested room still had the same view, so I don’t see how it was suggested as a replacement. I ended up staying at the room originally assigned to me. On day 3 of my stay I wanted to drink a juice from my mini bar, but it turned out to be expired more than 4 weeks ago. On the same night there was a party on the patio downstairs, music was playing very loud. I couldn’t sleep because of the noise, even though my balcony door was closed. When I called the reception to complaint I was told that the quiet hours in Greece start at midnight. I appreciate that , but noise cancelling is available to the humanity nowadays and the hotel could think about that. On day 4 I didn’t have time to have breakfast at the hotel, so I asked the server at the entrance if they can provide me with a takeaway box. I wanted to grab a couple things to have breakfast at my office. She didn’t know what to say, she approached the restaurant manager, who never approached me personally, they just kept pointing fingers at me and talk like I’m not 2 meters away from them. After that manager turned around and left leaving the server to deal with me. The server took her sweet time looking for a takeaway box, then approached me and said that they will only allow me to take a croissant :) I don’t mind the no takeaway policy, but the fact that the staff at $700 a night hotel handles such situations like a street diner is laughable. Especially the manager who didn’t even speak to me directly. He could have offered me to order something for takeaway from in room dining menu or something, but he decided to demonstrate that he doesn’t really care abt me as a guest and prefers to throw away the buffet food rather than allowing a guest to take the meal with them. Overall, the hotel is not worth your time or money.

Exceptional Boutique Luxury at The Margi, Athens! My stay at The Margi was absolutely perfect in every way! This stunning boutique hotel exceeded all expectations with its elegant design, impeccable cleanliness, and warm hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the unique, intricate decor blending modern luxury with a touch of bohemian charm. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and spotless, with a breathtaking view that made every morning feel magical. The delicious breakfast was a highlight—fresh, high-quality ingredients, a fantastic variety, and served in a gorgeous setting by the pool or in the lush garden. The location is ideal close to the beach yet within easy reach of Athens' vibrant city center. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless, offering excellent recommendations and attentive service. Dining at Gio was an absolute delight a true taste of Italy in the heart of Athens! I had the best Linguine Arrabbiata I’ve ever tasted outside of Italy—perfectly al dente pasta with a rich, spicy tomato sauce that was bursting with flavor. The balance of heat, garlic, and herbs was spot on, and every bite was pure heaven. For dessert, I indulged in an authentic Italian Affogato a simple yet divine combination of creamy vanilla gelato drowned in a shot of strong, aromatic espresso. It was the perfect sweet ending to an already incredible meal. The restaurant itself is elegant yet cozy, with a refined ambiance that makes it ideal for a romantic dinner or a special night out. The service was attentive and warm, adding to the overall exceptional experience. If you’re looking for real Italian flavors crafted with passion and precision, Gio is a must-visit. We highly recommendThe Margi to anyone seeking a luxurious, intimate, and unforgettable experience in Athens. This is not just a hotel—it’s a true gem! We can’t wait to return!

The hotel looks good in pictures & for the price you’d expect an exceptional stay. Rooms were small, staff was snobbish. You would either open the closet or walk in the room. Housekeeping didn’t consistenly leave water bottles or clean mugs & replace tea bags. Spa only accepts 4 people at a time so couldn’t find a spot for myself. The terraces in the rooms are nice & a la carte menu for breakfast but that’s easy to find in athens. Went to Azur hotel the last night and for 1/3rd of the price got smiling staff, great treatment & a free upgrade with a huge terrace overlooking vouliagmeni greenery.

My stay at The Margi Hotel was an exceptional experience. Nestled in the Athenian Riviera, this boutique gem offers luxury, comfort, and top-tier service. The stylish rooms were cozy and well-appointed, while the heated outdoor pool made for a relaxing escape. Dining at Malabar Restaurant was a highlight, with fresh Mediterranean flavors and a fantastic breakfast selection. The hotel’s location is ideal—close to the beach, Glyfada’s vibrant scene, and just a short drive to Athens’ historic center. With its elegant ambiance and warm hospitality, The Margi is the perfect winter retreat. Highly recommended!
