Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso

Great Location for staying with family and friends, close to all beach clubs and top restaurants in Athens. Very good breakfast, cool pools, and great Gym; but the real disaster are the rooms, they need a major refurbishment and uplifting project; they are stuck in time from the decoration to the worn down bathroom to the old beds and even the doors; this results in low value for money for me I am afraid to say.

I was here for 2 nights for a wedding in the area. I booked a king bed with direct ocean view. The view was STUNNING; however, the room needs a major upgrade. Everything is dated. The lobby and valet workers are extremely nice and very good at their jobs. I am not sure if there is turn down service as one night I had it and the next night I didn’t. I never made it to the breakfast so I can’t comment on that. The beach access if across the street from the hotel and is lovely.

Great location. Good atmosphere Rooms are old and require much need TLC to justify price and 5* status. Very expensive for what it is. Not good value.

This Hotel is in a class of its own . Had my first Spa day in this hotel and honestly it couldn't have been better . First impressions count .. Roxani lady on the Reception knows how to treat her guests .Polite , cheerful, helpful , kind , genuine smile , professionalism certainly was a good start to my experience . All week had breakfast in the upstairs outdoor cafe brilliant view , super comfy chairs 100% customer satisfaction from polite Alexandros his huge smile lit up the room even though we were first customers . Not forgetting all the other kind staff we encountered. Have eaten here many times over the years .

The hotel is in an excellent location, approximately a 40-minute drive from the airport. It features large, quiet swimming pools and a private beach with sunbeds and shaded areas. The rooms are comfortable, each with a balcony and a partial sea view. The hotel is very close to Glyfada, which offers a wide variety of excellent restaurants. There are also several very good seafood restaurants along the promenade directly opposite the hotel. The hotel staff are friendly and attentive, and the breakfast is generous, delicious, and of high quality. The room was very clean . Good value for money.
